Your Favourite Credits Music?

My first thread, exciting!

So credits music is something we're all very familiar with I'm sure. They're practically in every game! (I'll wait for the inevitable post to prove me wrong in more ways than one) But is there any credits music that really stuck with you? One that you thought was a fitting ending theme to a game you enjoyed (or maybe you didn't)? Share any credits track that you particularly liked!

For me, it has to be Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze:

Mainly for the jazz remix of the iconic Stickerbush Symphony from 3:00 onward, this track really really hit all the right notes for me, and I thought it was such a fantastic choice of a track to remix to end the game with. It's commonly referred to as David Wise's best track, so seeing him do a jazzy remix of his masterpiece is pretty exceptional. Combined with the fact that David Wise have been MIA for years until his return for Tropical Freeze (and Tengami, check the OST out!) it makes it all the more powerful. Seriously, I couldn't have picked a better track a DKC game with. On one hand though, it's a bit poignant as well, since god knows when we'll get another DKC game after this. Although I am hoping for another fucking Donkey Kong game from Retro, the series' future is looking really uncertain. The track might not be an ending for Tropical Freeze alone, but perhaps the series as well, which makes Stickerbush an even more perfect choice for this. On top of that, I think this is my favourite version of Stickerbush Symphony. I'm a sucker for saxophones.

...Though, one thing that really puts this track down is the fact that it cuts midway in the actual game. You only get to hear half of the Stickerbush Symphony segment when the credits actually roll. It took around 8 months till the full version was finally out. Though I like the rest of the track enough to still consider it my favourite.

The best kind of credits theme that reflects on your adventure you just spent. It adds onto the creative credits and the fun roll call, and the song has plenty of subtle callbacks to previous tracks without going into full-on medley territory. It makes you feel awesome, like you just conquered something great.

This is the perfect song to cap up what is a pure adventure. You traversed through the treacherous islands of K. Rool and his onslaught of cutthroat Kremlings, survived volcanoes, swamps, haunted woods and a seemingly never-ending tower only to breach the stronghold and recover your pal DK. With all the secrets on the way, the lovely environments, the amazing encounters, you truly felt like this was an intense voyage. This game means so much to me and whenever I finish it, I feel like I was just a part of something magical.

I practically tear up whenever I hear this song. I associate this almost entirely with my childhood memories playing Mario Kart with my pops, the great memories I had with my N64, growing up to become a gamer and the intense joy I would feel for gaming as a whole. When I finally beat all the cups and I sat there as the credits rolled, it was the first time a game in front of me actively reminisced about what once was, and these days I do the same whenever these things come on full display.

So glad Tropical Freeze was mentioned early. It's the best I've ever heard. I always have the widest grin on my face once I hear Stickerbrush kick into gear and that sax well up.

Wonderboy III.

Game would show all of Wonderboy's transformations like mouse man and lion man while that bad ass music played, and do a credits roll listing all the monsters as if they were actors.

FFVIII is also a good pick. beautiful music and animated epilogues for all the characters.

And I can't forget the song in Mario World when all the Yoshi eggs break open at the end.
