I have one but I'm very happy with it
I have one and I don't regret it. Same deal with my PS4 (even though I sold it on Monday).
The console I've owned that I'm closest to regretting is my Wii U - I don't like the gamepad at all and I can't even trade it in without having to go through bullshit for the two digital games I have.
Hm it's based on the PSX port. Oh well.
Fightcade is the exact same thing as ggpo, except with no port forwarding/adobe air. Also slightly worse connectivity. The guy who made it mentioned possibly updating to the newer version of fba or shmupmame, but I hear shmupmame guy doesn't reply to anyone anymore.

1. Watch the tv series, every episode. People saying "nono skip the last two" are dumb.
2. Watch End of Evangelion.
3. Watch the Rebuild movies
4. (optional) Get mad at Rebuild 3.0. Really really mad with 3.0.

You can start with the TV series then watch the End of Evangelion movie.
There are also the Rebuild of Evangelion movies which are still incomplete (upto 3 movies done now). They are like an alternate re-telling of the events of Evangelion. You should definitely watch these after the TV series because the pace is faster and they don't take as much time with the characters and world building.
The TV series combined with EoE is a classic.

Will do, I remember watching it as a kid and it completely left me speechless. Lets see if time has done any good/bad to it.
I know about all that stuff but I didn't want to spoil it or hint something. When it was first showcased it was definitely a rebuild/remake but now it is diverging.
Also Yams you will probably appreciate it more as an adult. I saw it as a kid and was just mind fucked, unable to appreciate the subtleties and themes in the show.
Is it really dumb how she gets the eye patch? All I remember from the characters is how Eva and the wimpy kid were sexually frustrated or something lol. Mind you, the last time I saw the show was probably 12 years ago.
