My wife enjoys watching me play and has no issue. I feel for those here whose significant other doesn't like these kind of games or fan service content in general, for those I say place your hopes in the Vita version and stretch your bathroom play sessions out.
You could wait and play it on the Morpheus with the tv part off.....she doesn't need to know. It'll be our little secret.

You know, as somebody who's yet to make the jump from PS3 to PS4, this is one of the few times I've seen something that clearly made me think "Yeah, my console can't do that."

As a big Mila main with a great affinity to Tina and Leifang, I feel you big time.
Heck, the only characters I really enjoy that even made the cut are Marie Rose (#2 in this book. The threads should be fun having her be the face of this title), Hitomi (with caveat as she'll only be a meager attempt to patch the Tina shaped hole in mah heart) and HonkHonk (becauae *HonkHonk*).
Thankfully, bikinis and booty battles even out characters I am indifferent to or flat out dislike, so I can be satisfied with three characters.
I think the VR tops the photo mode.

Honestly tits and ass aside the modeling work being done here is extremely impressive. The inner pervert in me thoroughly appreciates all the bare supple skin to be sure but just as a technical showpiece this game is incredible to look at.
This basically sums up the history of graphics that Team Ninja has built. They have always been technical wizards that no one pays attention to because its mostly used for fan service.

A major thing that helped more people pay attention is that they ditched the doll appearance that had stuck with the series for so long. The change alone was dramatic

Exactly. Tits and ass are nice but I wish this kind of attention to body physics+skin detail would be possible in other games. I mean, of course it is but resources are used on other things instead and you can only spare so much rendering time on a scene.
This is kinda like Driveclub of gravure.

Even in DOA5, the new development team of DOA were working on improving the asses a significant amount..
Now, Mila, Tina, Nyotengu, Honoka, Ayane, and Kasumi all have distinct posteriors that are very shapely. (click for zoom in)
Subject A, Honoka

Now compare that to DOAX2 butts, not even a contest
Flat as pancakes. Itagaki was not an ass man, which is a shame definitely.

I was always with Hayashi. His output barring NG3 is really good. Also he's always out there in public and we have him to thank for Nyo Tengu.
