If they alter anything, I think it's just be an "All characters version".

Now, if they do change anything, I hope the import price for the Asian version doesn't kill me.

If that is the case NA will be waiting over a year for the game, but probably longer.

Only change is the promotion and maybe less Marie stuff. Ideally if its a few months later we would get the dlc as a bonus. Ideally.

Yo, I'm not even gonna front, that Kasumi .gif put me over the edge to pre-order the PS4 CE (Asia Region) off Play-Asia. Super interested in what potential this has for Playstation VR as well, if that's still a feature.

Still kind of salty Lei Fang isn't in this but I'll live.

I kinda believe it will.

Not because TK doesn't think we will pay for a rerelease, because they know we would.

I'm not sure it will. The longer they wait the more it hurts their DLC chances over here. I doubt there are that many importers who will double dip on the game + DLC, and if it takes over a year to come over the West is not going to be happy back buying all that DLC instead of being included on our disc.

My gut tells me the game is coming over, despite what has been said so far. The question is how it'll come over. F2P digital download only? Digital only? That is the only reason I haven't preordered yet. I'm going to sit on it and see what happens closer to release.

While I have no problem with Honoka, I admit I'm still salty that some of the mainstays got the boot for newer characters. Leifang and Tina should've been locked from the get go no question.

I can already imagine the SFMs that could come from it. The world is not ready.

I'm happy Ayane and Helena are in but no Tina makes me really sad.:( As for that SFM....

Site's been updated as well with screenshots and such.
Looks like the game takes place over 14 days, and each day has four phases (morning, afternoon, evening, night).
Edit: Also they've listed shop specific preorder bonuses. Though none of the ones I can preorder from interest me.

Which bonuses are you interested in?

Where are you seeing the shop specific bonuses?

You should be able to get the trophies just fine, DLC is another matter.
The emphasis is on both, so you can't play the DLC on another account, so you can't earn trophies on your main account either while playing the DLC, so for a game like thus where you are supposed to unlock things it's s right pain/

I thought in Play Asia, game description, they mentioned there are no DLC planned.

btw, why is the Asean cheaper by $100 compared to Jpn version?
It's too fishy.

If this game does indeed come to the West, what are the odds that they will add new characters to the roster, or possibly even change it (Christie/Lisa/Tina)?

No planned CHARACTER dlc. There will be $100's of dollars worth of outfits and the like.

It's funny looking at those screens, because that's exactly how good I remember the original Xbox game looking when I reminisce about it, haha.

I've never used Play Asia or sites like it to import something. PA has the game listed at $72.99. Is that all in, or will there be crazy shipping/customs fees on top of that?
Cheapest shipping is ~$6, taxes depend on your country. In EU you'll pay ~20%, in US nothing afaik. Not sure about other regions.

fuck it, preordering the Asian versions. that new trailer was too good. just gonna grab standard ones. i don't need that mousepad crap, i do want the playing cards but not worth the extra money. Express shipping for $13 ain't bad at all.

you'll see how much shipping is during check out when you choose shipping method.

PSN Asia loves costume DLCs and they dedicate their life to it. You will see more DLCs than games added to their store. If you choose Asean version, you will not miss any costume DLCs.

There goes my $100 savings..

yea, i can see NA cutting out bikinis they deem too explicit? altho pretty stupid considering previous games all had the infamous Venus suit. there's barely anything left to cover.

I'm sure it has been asked before but I'll ask for clarity. If I order the Asian version of this game and play it on my US based PS4 will I have issues with region locking, etc?

no, the only region-locking is the DLC content. you'll most likely need to buy/redeem DLC through Asia PSN which is usually like PSN Hong Kong or another Asian country.

Nope. The PS4 is entirely region free the only issue you would run into is if you want DLC of which you would need a proper account to the region of the game you imported.

For example I created a Japanese PSN account and purchased Senran Kagura :Estival Versus and some DLC on it. As long as its set to the PS4 as its primary console I can be logged onto my North American PSN account and still have full access to all the DLC and game.

Much appreciated. Now I just need to determine if the menus will only be in Japanese or if they will have English heh.

Damn, Japan has finally realized the importance of the booty.

You are late. From DOA5 they got the booty. And It's not just Japan. 90% of devs can't do the booty. It's just Team Ninja Platinum whatever Kojima trolls Capcom and Bioware. Everybody else has pancake asses.

About time.
Booty warrior life ain't easy in gaming. So few and far between but the boobies are everywhere.
I'd sooner sail past 50 boobie islands just to get to the one about the booty.

All footage thus far has been from the PS4 version as far as I am aware.
Yeah this is what I have seen too. Vita version will certainly not be as good as this, but I am still curious to see how it looks. DoA5+ on Vita managed to be pretty impressive on Vita.
