Sonicomi: Communication with Sonico [PC] LE/CE now available for pre-order

I love animu and all that but other than her being sexy I was never interested in the character.

I think she's in the Nitro fighter right? I guess I'll see her there since I'm getting that.

My girl is a big Sonico fan and I even got her a Sonico figurine for Christmas. I was thinking about importing the PS3 game for her but I wasn't sure if she'd be able to enjoy it unlocalized. I guess this solves that dilemma.

I'd imagine the Collector's Edition is exclusive, since J-List is partnered up with Nitro+ to send/ship the body mouse pad separately from Japan. They also offer few other Nitro+ online exclusive items, so I'm guessing that version will be exclusive to their store.

The Limited Edition could be made available elsewhere, but it'll probably be without the Steam digital code.

I see, guess I'll think about it. Does J-List charge right away?

They shouldn't. I've ordered from them in the past so, unless things have changed since then, it should just be the temporarily authorization charge that falls off of your credit card after a few days.

I pre-ordered my CE earlier today and see the temporary charge listed in my transaction history. If it becomes a permanent charge I can let you know, but I don't expect that it will.

I never quite get these sort of games that are all tease and no pay off, but I do know that that's some peoples bag, so fair enough.

Really though, what I mostly got from that though, is that this needs VR support, or a sequel built for VR from the ground up.

Also, having googled Pochaco, my interest has gone from casual disinterest to 'that's my fetish!', so are there any games with her in? You know, for science?

I know some sites do, so just double checking. How are they if you decide to cancel, though? I want to secure an order but not sure if I want it that much...

No games centered around her, but she did have a cameo [a very brief cameo] in the anime. If you blink you probably missed it.

They're fine with cancellation. In fact, just earlier yesterday I had a cancellation with them. When I pre-ordered the CE it was listed for the full price, and not with the 10% off for pre-orders deal they have. When I noticed this, I attempted to "re-order" it through the order history, and instead of replacing the order with the updated one with the 10% off pre-order price, it created another/separate order. Since I then had two pre-orders, I sent J-List an email and had the first order [without the 10% off] cancelled immediately without issue. I've also cancelled from them a couple other times in the past and haven't run into any troubles.

Unless the CE is a different case, I wouldn't worry about cancelling later if you decide to. I'm sure, if they were refusing cancellations for this item for any reason, the listing would indicate that. As long as it hasn't entered the shipping phase, I see no reason why they wouldn't cancel your order if you changed your mind on the purchase.

Great, thanks! I'm too used to ordering figures from import places now, and they aren't big fans of cancelling items...

Dont search for figures of her if you are at work, im warning you.

Its "fascinating" how much mileage they are getting with this character.

Never would've expected this. Awesome news for the west. Just curious how much the Steam version will cost.

Oh, I was thinking this was a music game.

Interest deflated. Nice to see it coming to PC in the west though!

Nice to see some fellow Pochaco fans here :) Shame she isn't in this game, though...

Is she in any game?

Not yet, but....suppose they make a "sequel" with her in it.....

Oh and....did you know there was a "Butt" mousepad featuring her not too long ago to celebrate her birthday? She's been around for a while so I wouldn't be surprised if they did more with her in the future....

Edit: Come to think of it, I do have a Sonico artbook with a DVD of additional outfits she can have in the Japanese version of this game. It would be pretty cool if it worked in this English version too.....

Now also listed on Righstuf.

Think I'll go with this and skip the mouse pad. I have nowhere to put it in my current setup, anyways.

Nice alternative!

Keep in-mind, you won't get the Steam key by purchasing from Rightstuf, which is essentially a separate/additional copy of the game [that you can keep for yourself or gift to a friend]. Just a thought!

I'm all about that mouse pad, though. So excited that I have that CE pre-ordered locked in. Unfortunately, I have a feeling I'll be waiting a while. :/

Hmmm I figured it would since the last pic on Rightstuf shows the same stock photo with the "Steam code" image.
