I apologize for that. This shit is frustrating. Frustrating is not even how I would define this. Looking back at how bad things got, how so many people died because of idiot choices by people that would look you straight in the eye and swear that they are voting for everyone's interest and not their own starry eyed and classist ideals. All just to be magically absolved of any participation in what would come to pass, and we all pretend to forget and repeat the cycle.

The most worrisome thing about this election is the ramifications for America's future. Regardless of Trump or Sanders not getting elected, the damage is done. Their supporters aren't going to go crawling back in the woodwork because their candidate failed. This cycle of stupidity is going to be part of the election from this point on and the worst part is that politicians have empirical evidence that it works. The hate is out and it ain't going nowhere. As of now, our best case scenario is Bernie loses the nom and Trump loses the general, which leaves us with a lot of very upset people on both sides of the fence.
I feel like all the progress and goodwill from Obama's eight is being obliterated from both sides. America is so fucked and as a dominate world power that makes the rest of the world just as fucked.

Morning all. Went to the movies yesterday, saw Xmen (was going to watch something else but my roomie accidentally got two tickets) and it made me sick.
Got a terrible headache and threw up. Felt 70% better when I got home and sleep got me back to 100%. Don't think I'll be going to the movies for a while.

The movie wasn't terrible. It was mediocre though, but the experience was terrible, haven't felt that sick in ages.

So I've been playing Fallout: New Vegas. It's the first Fallout game I've played for any length of time.
I just want to say that I like what they've done with the post-apocalyptic setting. It has been some time since the bombs fell, and they've actually thought through what it would look like if society started to rebuild itself. Things are explicitly moving past the time of humanity being in scattered gangs and tribes, and groups are building nations and empires. Trade routes are fairly well-established. There are large businesses and trade routes, governments and treaties.
I like it a lot.

Actually, i remember you telling your story. Nvm, i ain't touching that.
Mine was a simple story of boy meets girl, falls on hard times, does some slightly shitty things, makes good on his life and his kids (me) take too long processing things. Either way, he made good on life but now i have to deal with the consequences of my actions every few months. He misinterprets things, like not calling back for a few days. Usually, that means I'm chronically tired and want to do regular things, like eat, sleep and shit.

This was also apparent in Fallout 1,2, and 4. Fallout 3 not so much. Fallout has a really dope universe.
no worries it's all relative. I've gone through bouts in my life where I didn't talk to either of my parents. Difference was that one of them is able to admit to fuck ups and tried to change things before it was too late. I got much love for people that can admit both sides made mistakes so I'm not entirely above reconciliation.
