I liked it, first two volumes were good but I don't know, the whole thing went to shit when Sorrentino left the book, makes me feel like it was the aesthetic pulling the weight. Haven't read anything else by Fialkov to compare.

Re: Sunstone, the dialogue is actually my favorite part. It's kind of babbling and it can run on, but that's just who the characters are. It's why I like them (but I agree that it's not really that sexy despite all the sex).
Re: Rainbow Rowell. What Ross61 said is exactly how I feel about it. I'm tired of 50+ year old men writing high schoolers, and though I haven't read any of Rowell's books, she's on the record as being a Runaways fan, and Oliver Sava of the AV Club's comic stuff is excited and I tend to agree with him, so I'm all in.
Also 5th weeks are boring for comic releases, but it's hard to complain when there's a new issue of Saga for $0.25

folks need to chill, getting worked by these last page reveals that don't always end up being what they seem.
(like Good Cap from last chapter doesn't seem to be an actual different person but instead a look into Cap's mind as his good side is trying to fight back)
Everyone got all crazy about Magneto being Hydra and it turned out he wasn't and he cut a deal of neutrality to keep mutants safe, both sides knowing full well they'll end up fighting down the line.
We just had a chapter where they tell told us about their mind control, Scarlet and Vision are known victims, obviously they did something to Man Thor as well. Just hold on before going crazy about Punisher.

Mahvoo's YA author gambit is more wins than losses as of late so if Rainbow is the writer, cool.

Nice nice, glad to read this man. I struggled with that first volume but towards the end, I'm not sure if it was Williamson or me, but I was coming around a little. He sets up some good plot threads throughout Godspeed that he doesn't get to, and obviously the Button hangs over like a cloud, it's definitely intriguing.
The WW annual sounds really fun too, especially your spoiler tag haha

I feel like there being a physical second Steve, as long as it was explained in some way, would have been a better way to deal with things eventually going back to normal than just the inner Steven winning over. That just sounds so comically bad to me. Reality changed...or maybe not. It more just put a coat of paint over the old reality...
Based on the story so far and covers I would expect Sam and the Cube to be part of it as well. People were calling the idea of a second Steve a cop out so either way there would be people who weren't happy lol.

That is the biggest issue with Secret Empire from my point of view. I don't think it can be done well now. It all has to be undone, they've said it will be undone, now they just have to explain it in a way that is satisfied and it's almost never going to pan out in everyone's eyes.
It pretty much has to be amazing otherwise it's a disappointment given how much heat they've caught for it and how much they've defended it to just stick with it.

I liked the first issue of Hopeless Doctor Strange. As someonme who wasn't following the Aaron run, I may keep this on my pull list depending on Legacy. Hopeless has been putting out some good work.
