UPF was fun too. Saving Beastcast & VRodeo for tomorrow before SGDQ2017 starts. It's going to be a content filled week for me since I'm balls deep into AGDQ/SGDQs, besides GB stuff.

Just tried an Oculus for the first time and now I'm a believer. VR is way better than I expected. But I want to hold out till the Vive gen 2 comes out... hope it's not longer than another year from now.

That's what everyone says the first time they try VR. Then you actually put some time into it and, well...

Yeah, this was true for me at least. I used to own an Oculus, but I sold it off. Just got bored with it, and didn't feel like it was worth the hassle unless I was showing it to someone else. Also had one of those really bad motion sick experiences that put me off it for a while.

Though I did show it to a really old guy once, and he was way more fascinated by the wireless headphones I was using with it than VR.

Yeah, I guess. But I legit felt like I was in another place with The Climb, I got god damn vertigo when I looked down. It was insane.

The other game I played was Robo Recall and it was really REALLY fun. I'm blown away by the level of immersion and feeling of being somewhere else with this stuff.

Hell yeah, VR is awesome. I got the PSVR yesterday and played Resident Evil 7. That game, in VR, is the bar for immersion in VR (imo). The title screen alone is ridiculously real feeling. It is absolutely jawdropping, having played the game all the way through in non-vr, how different the environments become. The first hallway into the Bakers house becomes this somehow long, almost claustrophobic, walk until you reach the kitchen and the depth presented just shocks you. And then the stairs to the attic, oh man, they look so daunting in comparison to just looking at a tv screen. I can gush over the experience forever. I can't wait to get my hands on more games like Superhot VR and Batman. VR is here to stay for me.

Is re7 VR available on PC or are there any plans to bring it to PC?

This is the run is actually the best new content this year, but the problem is that BitE is a giant sucking void that takes up all the time for the east crew to do other content.

My girlfriend is coming home from America tomorrow and she bought a Switch for me. For some reason I have insane buyers remorse..

I legit had to look up what content This Is The Run was, I had forgotten all about it.

Its bizarre to me that VR is lacking in the genre that I feel fits it most obviously, and that I was always excited about: first person adventure games. I guess I get that the market there isn't very huge, but apart from the Obduction port they're working on and Resident Evil sorta, "explore this intricately crafted space" doesn't seem like its getting much?

This shit looks fucking nuts

This looks frigging fantastic, but lord am I over all the skelly/skellington/etc humour. Maybe that's one I never got in the first place.

Also Fight Knight sounds like a game that exists because someone came up with the name first and it was clever. Not that that's a bad thing.
