WB accidentally posted a new trailer for Wonder Woman 1984 on YouTube and before it was set to private people saw this:

I would have definitely gone to this but then I remembered what these fucks did to JD.

Get fucked WB. I hope you die. (And I’ll watch this another way arrrrrrr)

Once you open up Pandora's box there ain't no going back. All these studios want to direct to streaming and cutting off the middle men. Jenkins wouldn't be the one to make that call anyways. It's above her paygrade. She's playing the political game here trying to appease movie theater owners.

What's the point of this? Considering movie theaters make something like 80% of their box office take in the first month. With it being on HBO Max I will assume even more people will have watched the movie in the first month.

The big blockbusters going to streaming will be the final nail for theaters. These movies were made for billion dollar box office returns, but studios can only hold on and push these back for so long.

Hopefully America gets it's act together before Black Widow releases.

Cool way to kill physical/retail and keep people physically distanced, inside, at home, afraid, and buying things digitally.

OBEY. CONSUME.

Hollywood is screwed either way. They have loans and interest to pay back so they can't sit on this product forever.

Anyways feels like this is part of a plan to allow China to swoop in and buy these studios up penny on the dollar and shift soft power to China. Already China is moving fast on being the biggest film market and they can only accelerate their movie production. I don't doubt for a minute all these show biz types would move to China and start making movies there.

Wait for December 10th. Meltdowns are coming.

Isn't Black Widow scheduled for May? Why would they bring it forward and release it on Disney +?
Again, if it gets released in cinemas in Australia I'll be happy.
Disney can suck a dick if it's straight to Disney+ here, absolutely no reason not to release it in cinemas here.

Low bitrate 1080p SDR and 1990's era compressed Dolby 5.1, my favorite way to watch $200 million dollar blockbusters. HBO Max is king of the trash pile.

It’s the first film to be made available on HBO Max in 4K, with Dolby Vision, HDR and Dolby Atmos streams.

And I imagine the service will TOTALLY COLLAPSE for days due to server load. Trying to watch this film (or anything really) over the holidays on the HBO max service is probably going to be a stuttering mess.

Is this coming to a streaming service in the UK and rest of the world? Or is it going to get pirated out of all fucking existence?
