A lot bigger then I expected. Next to Mythra and Prya for reference.

I also got this Saber Alter figure a month or two ago.

I would kill for a quality dyanmic figure/statue of NieR. Primarily based on the cover art for the NieR Orchestral Arrangement albums:

I'm not sure if you'd call these "figures", but I've been building Gunpla kits for a while. I think the first one I got was at the tail end of the 90's. To date I've built just about every non P-Bandai (They can be prohibitively expensive to get) 1/100 Master Grade kit they've sold. If it's not pictured, it's in my stack of kits I haven't built yet. There are five Perfect Grade kits in the mix as well. I have a small row of shelves for 1/144 Real Grade and High Grade kits. I paint almost every kit including areas nobody will ever see, and I try to keep everything as it was in the series it came from so it's mostly single color paint jobs. Each kit at minimum gets detailed and top coated. I've done some custom paint jobs as well. I've actually gone back to several, torn them down and completely refinished them.

I also collect and build Scale Star Wars models. I mostly build 1/72 scale, though I did just finish the 1/144 Slave 1, which was my first "commissioned" job, and also the first model I ran my own lights in. Obviously the Star Destroyer is not 1/72, it's 1/5000. I don't have 22 meters of shelf space for a 1/72 Star Destroyer. The Droids and Boba Fett are 1/12 scale.

I don't have any pictures as I haven't had them out on display in over a decade, but I also used to collect Star Wars toys. I have just about the entire line of Power of the Force figures, most of the vehicles like the AT-AT and the ships. They've been in storage for years and I've been thinking of letting them go to someone that will be able to have them out on display. They take up a lot of real estate and mine is pretty much spent :messenger_grinning_sweat:

Other than those, I don't have many conventional figures/figurines/statues. I picked up Mythra and Pyra and have Kos-Mos on pre-order. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 quickly became one of my favorite RPGs. I got the Varia Suit Figma figure which needed some line work, but is otherwise really cool. Finally, I collected the four Threezero 1/6 Fallout power armor figures. These are probably my favorite things. I absolutely loved the armor designs in the game, easily the best thing they changed for Fallout 4 (other than the way they just handed it out like candy) and I've always had a thing for power suits and Mecha stuff (as you may have noticed) so these being made with such quality and detail was just great.

I do also have every Amiibo that's been produced in my house (except gold Megaman because fuck that), but they all belong to my brother. I think he also has all the Kotobukiya Street Fighter girls, as well as many of the Ktobukiya Tekken girls. He has a handful of One Piece statues. I got him the Sorceress, an old MaxFactory Kasumi and Tharja. He had a massive 1/4 scale Poison statue as well but recently sold it.

More statue than figurine, but I dropped $300 on her and dammit I'm gonna show her off

The way Sideshow managed to capture J Scott Campbell's art in 3d is really damn good. She's also a lot bigger and heavier than I though she'd be, so I gotta do some rearranging to fit her in my collection.

So yeah, a new Cattleya in a one piece swimsuit came in recently. She's kind of NSFW, so I'm gonna spoil it, though no outright visible nudity, you still shouldn't look at this at work or in public.

She's so thicc that she's damn near obscene and I love it.

Never bought a figure before, other than stuff I got in collector editions of games like 2B and Noctis, but I finally had to break down and pre-ordered this:

I've heard that figures are a slippery slope, so I'm going to try to refrain from any other impulse decisions, but the quality of this one is just top notch compared to some other stuff that I would have been interested in.

@SLoWMoTIoN your rating please
I'm actually not that familiar with Queen's Blade. Cattleya isn't my type either but it seems to be a well made or true to the source figure/10.

never owned any of this stuff

might buy a decent zero suit samus figure tho
The figure isn't nice like this one.

I've got these two from Banpresto. These are my only two figures to be imported from my former home in Illinois to Mexico. When the pandemic ends and I get to visit the States; I'll bring back more figures and share. Hand-painted, btw.

Yes, here are some pictures of my action figures. As you can see, I like collecting figures of Marvel and DC characters as they're depicted in live-action movies.

Great collection and nice set up!

I missed this thread when I set up an Action Figure thread in the communities section. As this is mostly non articulated stuff, I think both can co-exist. I’d love to see more of your collection in the Action Figure thread. https://www.neogaf.com/threads/action-figure-gaf-ot-afgaf-2020-re-issue.1552569/

Finally got my Lady Jaye Bishoujo and what a goddamn disappointment. The hair looked so gorgeous in all the promotional shots and it just looks like mud on the actual figure.

This is certainly unsubtle packaging for this Transformer (which is know is technically an action figure, but she shares enough DNA with anime figures that I'm putting her here.

I'll probably post more of her later.

I received the Weltall from Xenogears today. I’ve owned the same Gundam Wing Zero model for ages now. I wanted another mech, but this time I wanted it from something that was meaningful to me in the gaming world. I haven’t had a chance to open it up.

Of course, the Arabian Armor one is the best, since it's based off of the best picture of Rise

In terms of Anime merch, this is a large tapestry that was only sold at one Comiket a few years back, and I've managed to grab two, so I'm quite happy about that.
Good lord, whatever happened to G. I. Joe?

I had to request a replacement due to a defect with the back piece coming off, but big bad toy store is awesome. I already received the replacement.

Amazing fig. Did you find it on ebay or YahooJP?

Found it on Ami Ami. I scour their pre-owned selection a lot since you can sometimes find some rare gems like this sealed and in good condition. Their grading system is pretty accurate from the ones I've bought so far, although granted I've only gotten figs that are graded A or A- in both scoring categories (product & package) from them.

That looks incredible. A bit too rich for me also. Import will be around $350 and US retailers have it at $400.

I might be one of the few persons who doesn't hate this version of the joker and this iron studios figure was so cheap I couldn't say no 😂

How much of a sin is it if I want to throw away the boxes for my figs? I have no interest in reselling individually at any point, if I do anything like that it will likely be a "whole collection at once" and not to make money, just to get rid of them. Is there any value for me to hold on to these boxes? They take up way too much space.

Vlaphor

If you have no desire to resell them, then do what you want. I've saved the vast majority of my boxes and they take up a ton of space, but I will eventually probably sell some of my figs.

Well lately I can't stop scanning the web for cheap iron studios 1/10 scale MCU figures and I get lucky to often... My last iron man I got from Japan 🇯🇵😂 but Hulk was locally sourced from Germany.
