It's been 20 years already? Jesus. One of my GOAT games. Wonderful memories with this one. I still need to play the new one. I've heard good things about it.
Yep, same here. One of my favorite games of all time and I ended up loving Desperados more than the Commandos series.

Desperados 3 is very good, but not great. My main issue is with one of the characters who doesn't fit with the rest and on top of that this character has one of the most powerful skills in the game which almost feels like cheating (not gonna spoil more). Sure you can try playing using other characters, but it's still an issue when you have to set your own rules to keep the game challenging.

Yeah, i remember playing the first game back then. It was great. I don't have a recollectio of playing Desperador 2 though.

Desperados 3 was really, really good. I've been playing Shadow Tactics up to mission 5, I think, but that doesn't have the same pull for me, for some reason.

Assuming you are talking about a character who has a cat buddy, I relate to what you're saying but I also think her abilities are fun to experiment with. Shadow Tactics was a little more brutal and therefore more engaging by comparison, but D3 has a lot of quality of life improvements that make basically make the two games equally good imo. Anyone who has played and enjoyed one will surely enjoy the other too.

Yes, I was talking about that character, she never really clicked with me as a part of the group.

In my personal opinion Shadow Tactics is a little better than Desperados 3, but I still enjoyed both games very much and hopefully the studio will continue to make more.
