Let me summarize this! For over a month we had people very very happy with studio acquisitions and then an avalanche of rumors and an avalanche of “opinions” about the future… how it would be amazing
Comes E3… none of the rumors were true, no new studios and nothing to make someone who’s not in the Xbox ecosystem wanting to jump, Sony is kinda in the same situation, they choose to jump E3 for a reason!
So the ones to blame are the “insiders” who everyone loves to hype whatever they write and the fanboys who spread those rumors.
a gamer who’s not always on top of the “news” or got carried away with the overhyped, expected a show that would be filled with wow moments.

While your sarcasm is great, it seems you missed the point.You can't tell the difference between a gun and an axe?
Uncharted and gow of war plays the same, different skin and weapons, but the gameplay is the same. I dont see any difference between them. Not something like gow vs returnal. Returnal you run for your life, while God of war, its all about swinging the axe.
Take the family feud you both have developed over the past several days to DMs.

everything has to be a fucking war. sony are killing it, nintendo are killing it and microsoft have great games finally coming and a amazing subscription service. all 3 are different to eachother and unique. never have we had so many options and so much quality. why do some of ya'll gotta tether yourself to one console and than complain about the other one? if you can only have one, than enjoy what you got. otherwise you would try to get all systems if you truly love playing games.

FH5 was wow, Halo on the other hand was kind of "?". Yes it has shown multiplayer looking good - very good, but that's about it. The campaign trailer was not really doing anything for me.
For the other games, I am just not a Bethesda Fan to begin with...so much of the WOW-Effect is either way non-existent to me as I cannot relate to the style of games they create. I am more positive than before, but I am not really astonished by the quality of games I saw. FH5 was kind of a given as they have been industry leading in graphical fidelity and fun in driving games for a longer time now. Gran Turismo never did anything for me..
looking at the remaining content, not really something standing out for me as exceptional.

Some people have pc's. And outside of smaller third party like stalker 2 what big third party game was coming to gamepass day one?
Because it was a surprise that diablo 2 ressurected and BF2042 Were no gamepass day one.
That shows in my opinion a shift in spending. Or types of games they want to sign.
Bf2042 being free on gamepass would be a mic drop moment. Same with diablo 2 , but those games are way too expensive for 6 month exclusivity to be free on gamepass.

Sony is at such an odd place right now. They don't really need to put out horizon this year since all of the ps5 consoles they have will sell out. But they could be waiting on what moves Microsoft will make with halo later this year.
I'm wondering if gt and god of war was always suppose to release next year and if not what was suppose to?

The game is linear. Heavily depend on the story. Both God of war and uncharted 1 have the same stylishly.
I am not looking down on them. I dont see games that much god of war on xbox. And I am not fan of their halo. And as for for their forza horizon, it isn't as fun as need for speed games.
Forza was the wow factor.

You get the just of it to have a wow factor you need a gameplay demonstration of a game with great visuals that blows you away. Forza was exactly that. But it's a shame it's always just Forza. Starfield is 2 years out and was a cutscene. Where is Hellblade gameplay it was revealed in 2019. Where is a new Halo campaign gameplay to make up for the disappointment last year. Why did they reveal Everwild if they don't know what the game is yet. People just need to see the games speak for themselves it's ironic that Outer Worlds 2 trailer was a paradox of CGbajd title reveals but to have a parody when Microsoft are the biggest offenders of this is strange. It's hard to get excited about future games without seeinguch of them what if Starfield has that crappy modified Gamebryo engine and is a small step up like Fallout 4. What if Halo campaign still looks bad. Microsoft need to prove to us this isn't the case. The reason people don't trust Microsoft is because they promised alot before with Fable Legends, Phantom Dust, Scalebound and etc. Not that I believe this is the case now as it seems they are way more invested into gaming now it's just we need to see the proof now that they have games that will blow us away.

They need more action and less watching when it comes to gamepass. Sony has been needing to dramatically expand for a long time. Halo is still a heavy hitter, kinda so It's possible when it comes to Horizon that halo could affects its release date. I really don't think they would release horizon in November with Halo. Maybe they would release it in December.
I always doubted that GoW was coming out this year. They were never going to release 5 AAA games in one year. Even if they were ready for the most part they would have held the game back.
Then again the original plan was to quickly push ps4 owners to buy the ps5...

It just doesn't make any sense, because Halo is not on Playstation, and Horizon Zero Dawn sold more than the last Halo. So if we combine the factors it's easy to conclude that there's no association there.
Sony doesn't tend to release games in November, because October - November - December are usually very busy with really big 3rd party games dropping. There's no need for them to compete with big 3rd parties head on.
Gamepass will help Halo have more people jumping in and the online is F2P, but it will be competing with big dogs for mindshare, so it better be real good if it's releasing in November.
