So which game soundtrack do you play on repeat and in all situations?

Okey, I’ve recently been playing the soundtrack for Final Fantasy VII (OG & Remake) on repeat. Both original and remake it just perfect, even the new ones from remake! :lollipop_fire:

I feel like there’s a track for every moment:
  • Running or hitting the gym - battle/boss theme
  • When I’m sad - world theme, themes of the entire group
  • When I’m happy - literally every track
  • When I need some background music - themes of characters/places
I feel like it’s always appropriate to play FFVII music. 🎵💚

My favorite thing is to just mix music from all Final Fantasy and just have it play in the background. 👌:lollipop_smiling_hearts:

So which game soundtrack do you play on repeat and in all situations? Or do you have different soundtrack for different situations?

When I need to pep up: Bravely Default, Persona 5
When I need to relax a bit: Final Fantasy Celtic Moon
Background Music: Those Nintendo No thoughts head empty lo-fi mixes or a 10h Beneath the Mask remix

I have about 600 full game soundtracks (it usually literally fills up my ipods), so I don’t play things on repeat, most of the time

But I do play way more often smooth songs from Final Fantasy, dark ambient and also acoustic songs from Silent Hill, a lot of ambient Resident Evil songs, and recently a lot of Persona (5, and 4 more than others)

And they made him a Lord of Cinder. Not for virtue, but for might. Such is a lord, I suppose. But here I ask. Do we have a sodding chance?

I listen to MegaDrive music all day long during work.
And I shake things up a bit with other consoles every once in a while, but I keep coming back to the YM2612.

Listening to this right now :

Spyro the Dragon(1998) OST. The original, not the remake. That soundtrack is legitimately the GOAT. People may claim differently, but they would be wrong. Its objectively the greatest ost, in any and all circumstances.

Are you sad? It'll cheer you up. Are you happy? It'll keep you motivated.
Are you hype? It'll massage your soul.
Are you horny? It'll make you blow loads bro. Are you a virgin? It'll make you a Chad.

All roads lead to this masterpiece by Stewart Copeland(drummer from the police btw). His work on the first spyro trilogy, but more specifically the very first Spyro game is Legacy incarnate. When I fuck I listen to the original Spyro the Dragon soundtrack, and you should too.

it's healthy fun, I know the area really well but there are few stretches where it's really dark and those tunes are an instant turbo. If I disappear one day that will mean I got eaten by a gang of boars
That’s just terrifying! I’m to much of a chicken to ever do anything like that. But damn them gains 💪

Witcher III : Blood and Wine Soundtrack
The Last Guardian Soundtrack

I've lost count how many times I've played them while working.

TLG one in particular is very underrated

One of my favorites of all time

Diff’rent tracks for diff’rent situations.

But I’m pretty omnivorous when it comes to game music. Let’s just say, I love me some raw J-rock (Gran Turismo, Winds of Thunder, Splatoon, Senran Kagura, Yuzo Koshiro, and Megaman X, to mention a few) when I’m driving.
