Immortal Fenix Down is much better than Breath of the Wild!

Predicts the worst decade for Sony starting 2022
I own BOTW on my switch and Immortal Rising on my PS5. Fenix Down trumps Zelda in every way.

Bettter story telling, better combat, better world navigation, better weapon system, better Powe up system, more interesting characters, much prettier graphics, more variety in the open world, much more populated world than BOTW mostly empty world, better charm, etc. I got this game for under $30 on Amazon and it's simply blowing me away. Immortal Fenix Rising maybe the most under appreciated game of this generation so far!

*mods please fix title to Fenyx Rising. Stupid autocorrect!

Incorrect opinion 😉. I feel almost the exact opposite about all your points. Even the graphics in BOTW are more appealing to me.
I did give immortal a fair shake and put about 10 hours in. Felt like a paint by number open world exploratory game. It lost me.

I did really like Fenyx Rising. The DLC was pretty good too. Only problem was your typical Ubisoft cramming in 10,000 collectibles to bloat the game.

Immortals fenyx rising is really good, definitely worth a playthrough if you enjoy botw.

I think my biggest turn off about the game and for many others is the character models, something botw definitely exceeds at.

They are both excellent games though.

I kind of agree, if we all agree imitation is a form of flattery…

Definitely enjoyed playing Immortals more because of the weather and weapon degradation nonsense in BOTW.

I loved Zelda for a long time, but then just stopped playing it without finishing.

Both really good games though.

I loved Immortals Fenyx Rising. Easily fucking better than BOTW in every way. Immortals Fenyx Rising is my BOTW franchise. Gives me the few good things of BOTW without the shit that was in it, better story and characters, full voice acting and far superior combat, gameplay and puzzles.

Watching paint dry is more fun than playing botw, so i agree. Yeah endgame in Fenyx is typical ubisoft map cleansing, but game at least has 15-20 hours of fun gameplay in storymode. BOTW is incredibly boring from the get go.

I did end up enjoying BoTW in lockdown, but I'd tend to agree that after seeing what came after it like Immortals it would be weird going back to such a game, with very few dialogue lines and a very sparse story.

Hope the second one is a fair amount of evolution over the original concept, and not completely more of the same.

Played both, preferred Zelda. I thought Immortals got really repetitive after a while and it felt like it lacked a major payoff.

Mortals Crow Flopping was not that great, the writing was just insufferable in my opinion. Haw haw "comedy" haw haw.

I know I've said before that story doesn't matter if the gameplay was fun, but I had felt like I had seen it all done better in other games, and it just didn't grab me or keep me hooked.

The thing I really prefer about botw is that the world isn't bloated with things to do and collect on every single corner. I felt like I was watching the minimap more than the actual game while playing it, and that's a shame, cause in certain areas it's a very pretty game and I'd like to just take it all ik without all the distractions. Botw is much better in that regard, and keeps your eyes in the world.

Other than that I pretty much agree, enjoyed it more than botw. Dragged on a bit at the end though, and some of the world were a bit dreary.
