If you're looking to buy another DualSense controller for some couch co-op action, you can now pick one up from the Apple Store. Just don't go to Apple looking for any discounts.
The tech giant is selling DualSense controllers at the same price as Sony, $70. If you're looking to save a couple of bucks, your best bet is Amazon, where you can pick up a DualSense controller for $68.

Apple's addition of Sony's DualSense to its store comes after an iOS update that introduced support for the controller. Users can now pair the controllers to their iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV over Bluetooth to play games, including some available on the Apple Arcade. PlayStation owners can also stream games to their devices using the PS Remote Play App. Keep in mind though that while the DualSense comes loaded up with next-gen features like haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, they won't be present if you're playing a game on an Apple device.

In other DualSense news, Sony recently announced the first two new colors for the next-gen controller. Along with the PlayStation 5's default white version, Midnight Black and Cosmic Red variants are being added to the lineup. The former features "different shades of black with light grey detailing" while the other has "a striking black and red design inspired by the unique vivid shades of red found throughout the cosmos," according to PlayStation's Isabelle Tomatis.

The two new DualSense colors release June 18 and can be preordered at Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop. The Cosmic Red controller will cost $75 while the Midnight Black version will run customers $70.

iPadOS supports the haptic feedback of the Dualsense ... but as per the norm with Apple, only on the latest hardware (iPad Pro '21)

The Amiga Brotherhood
Supported on Apple products, sold by Apple themselves, recently Sony officially published a Dualsense Linux Driver too.

I would love it if this was a sign that Sony is laying the foundations for PS Now expanding to support PS5 games on the platform and in general was offered on more platforms (MacOS, Android, ChromeOS, Browsers) but I dare not get my hopes up. Probably all just to support remote play and maybe SteamOS.

Guess Apple must love warranty claims as that’s what’s coming for them as the dualsense would have to be the worse manufactured control since the Atari 2600 rattling joystick

PS, Xbox, Nintendo all use the same joysticks from the same vendor, so that applies to all, including the $300-400 elite. Do some reading.

Yeah, DSense is so fucking nice controller with expensive shit inside but they still used this motherfucking driffting thumbsticks...

idk man, the original PS3 controller (sixaxxis or something that?) was pretty crappy as well. At least it certainly felt cheap.

There must be something, or else Elite won't be using the very same one. Honestly, only had one drift in the last 2 decades due to falling hard on the analog, so user error. I think some people are just too harsh on their controllers.

Makes sense on PC, picked one up a couple of weeks ago so guess it would on an iPad.

Not sure why people would get one for a Mac though??

$300-400 elite? You mean $179. Unless you believe 3rd parties set the MSRP. But if we follow that logic, the PS5 and XSX cost over $700.

That what is shown to me when I look for it on Amazon. It's extremely rare here as nobody buys xbox's nor they are released officially so not so much knowledge about it.

I walked into an Apple store about a year ago and they were selling Xbox controllers. I’ve used my DualShock 4 on my iPhone for a while now. I think it was iOS 13 that added the support.

Its not so much of a surprising choice given that its white and fits with the curves that apple tends to use.

I have also always appreciated the larger thumbsticks and trigger on Sony controllers, way more than microsofts offering (especially when they used shiny none grip plastic for shoulder and triggers after the 360, what where they thinking?)

I will be curious to see how it works alongside mobile gaming, perhaps apple will attempt to enforce controller support on there store titles.

Well, that is simply not the official MSRP price then is it? It could be more expensive for you, but that is not the experience for the majority of users buying a Xbox controller.

Usually when people bring up prices they usually refer to the US or EU prices, not other countries. The PS5 is almost $900 in Brazil, but no one seriously brings that up as the real price for the majority of people.

Every generation the duel shock (sense) has gotten better, unfortunately the dual sense has dead drift in its analog sticks.

What? Apple doesn’t have to worry about it as it’s not Apple manufactured. They sell plenty of third party products and the warranty lies with the manufacturer.

How long till the haptics are used in apple games though

Maybe it's up to the devs, not sure. It's pretty easy to implement as it's sound-based vibration, you can even program it to play music in vibration.
If the controller is accessible on apple devices then am pretty sure it wont be long befor all the haptics and stuff will be tapped into

I think it is. A guy on youtube was playing music through the haptics using Windows PC. It has a RealTek audio chip inside the DualSense. Expect the major ones like PUBG, Fortnite, Call of Duty to start adopting it first.
