We are entering the last phase of 2021 and Xbox looks to close out the year strong. There are still alot of Xbox games scheduled to come out in these last 3 months of 2021 so lets take a look at them. Halo Infinite ( December 8 ), Age Of Empires IV ( October 28 ) and Forza Horizon 5 ( November 5 ) are the bigger titles that we already know alot about. This is more about the smaller titles that we do not know much about so lets take a look.

Disclaimer: Some of these games still do not have release dates and may get pushed back to 2022 but as of right now they are all planned 2021 releases.

Please for the love of god make sure they release on PC without fucking annoying performance problems and bugs. Just slow down and wait til they are ready ffs, I don't care about a month or two delay when I have this much stuff to play anyway.

I can just feel in my bones that Tunic, The Gunk & Moonglow Bay will be let down by some bizarre performance problems just as a matter of course for this year so far and since those are the ones I'm most excited for.

Lots of mediocre stuff
Microsoft Nod GIF by Xbox

No shortage of stuff to play for me. Tunic in particular was a lot of fun in the demo. Forza, Gunk will be the main ones I'm looking forward to. Back 4 Blood next month too. I've barely started Aragami 2. Still playing The Ascent nearly daily. Haven't started Sable, or Artful Escape, or FFXIII. A few of the games in the OP I've never even heard of, so I have no expectations really, but I'll try them out.

On Switch I'm going through the No More Heroes trilogy. On part 1 currently. Haven't even started Warioware just yet. Metroid next month. Advance Wars in December.

On PS5 I'm looking forward to Stray next year day one. I'll pick up Kena after a price drop this year probably. Sifu next year after a price drop, probably by next summer.

Glad i got a ps5 at launch, couldnt be me waiting so long for games to release and always talking about the future as if the present doesnt matter and as if other companys will just stop releasing games by then. How many games actually have released since the initial xbox game show for their launch lineup reveal from last year? Cant be much based off that list pretty embarrassing tbh.
The only thing I can think of are Flight Simulator, 12 Minutes and Death's Door.

The Gunk looks really good, could be a sleeper hit. Definitely like the look of SCORN for a change of pace.
Into The Pit gives me those Hexen/Heretic vibes so I'll be checking that out as well.

Those along with Halo Infinite and Forza Horizon 5 make it easily the best line up for the rest of the year by some margin.

do not tempt fate do not contrain Wonder Woman's thighs do not do not
Crossfire X lol. I remember the MP beta for that. Just awful.

The MP and SP are basically two completely separate games from two completely separate studios.
Odd choice but whatever, not like anyone is actually gonna be playing the multiplayer...its an attempt to get the asian audience but its pointless if you dont have any consoles out there for people to play on.

Crossfire X
The Single player is being made by Remedy in Northlight Engine.
The Multiplayer is basically a remaster of Crossfire in Unreal Engine 4 by Smilegate.

Is Astria Ascending actually confirmed for Gamepass? That's in like a week then right? I didn't see it on the list on my system, but they add stuff constantly.

Update: Also forgot Sol Cresta on PS5, waiting for reviews on Solar Ash. Fatal Frame is a wait for price drop. Evertried on Switch is a wait for price drop.

Too much for me to play really.

In the OP's game list, only game I'll try is that shooter game. Although being an indie game, it's likely all sizzle. The core gameplay and content will probably be shit.

The rest of the games look like B-tier kinds of games.

I have a Series X but I really wish it was a PS5 so I had some actual new AAA games to play from the first party offerings themselves.

This list is dire. I mean they might end up as really decent games but these aren't the titles I bought an XBOX for. To be honest, I don't even know why I even bought this console in the first place as I have yet to buy an actual "Series X" game for it. Maybe I'll get Guardians of the Galaxy though so I can play that at 4k/30fps (lmao), at least to tide me over until Elden Ring... *cries in Series X*

As if the ps5 this year will end up with more AAA exclusives than Xbox.

Returnal, MLB the show, RATCHET, Death Stranding Directors cut, Ghost Directors cut, Fist, Kena: Bridge of spirits, Death Loop? Even if you take out Death stranding and ghost you have death loop, kena, fist for fall games and im not including a lot of smaller stuff.

Literally beginning of 2022 is Forbidden west, Followed by GT7, MLB the show and thats not including anything that gets announced in the next couple months.

It's a mixed bag for sure, but at least it's a bag that costs no additional fees from gamepass, lots of salty people missing out on Gamepass here shitting all over it.

In reality, as long as you get a few solid titles to Gamepass(which we do have coming) the chaff is ok, and some of it's not all instant abortions, some of it's flawed but fun, which I'm ok with when I haven't paid anything extra from my Gamepass which I got at a great price well below the MSRP that everyone is going to inevitably quote.
