N64 and SEGA Genesis games coming to Nintendo Switch Online

Banjo64

Separate tier, pricing to be revealed soon. This is some bull shit, this should definitely be included in the standard plan.

Thanks but no thanks at the N64 controller. You have to be that stupid to not know their analog not only sucks but tires easly. They are really poor shit quality.

Now about the games...well, can't say I'm surprised. Hope they get some kinda of upgrade, N64 games are cool stuff for me.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
The Wii virtual console was near perfect damn shame Nintendo didn't just carry that over to the Switch platform I kinda noped out on Nintendo digitally after they moved on from that
Kinda where I'm at too. They obviously have the emulators in place. They have a solid collection of games. Just let me buy the ones I want and I'll be happy. Fuck all these extra subscriptions and addons and shit.

Also, give me folders on the Switch

I cry about SonyGaf from my chair in Redmond, WA
Who thought it would be a genius idea to make a controller that gets worthless when you unsub to something.

Why couldn't we just buy these god damn games separately

I think it sucks they will charge more for N64 and MD roms, when the pricing of the online already is a joke for what they offer there. I think the pads are expensive, but they look great to use them with PC emulators (I assume they will be USB+Bluetooth).

So nintendo will have 2 subscriptions, which both only have old games, Nintendo is next level greedy lol, n64 pad with no improvements to joystick lol, these will be drifting just like the joy cons.

I use my NES controller for other games outside of the Switch Online service. Games in some Konami collections etc.

Sweet. Sega's offering the same 16-Bit games they've repackaged for every console since the Dreamcast. Can't wait to buy Sonic 2 and Flicky again. Much better than releasing those arcade games like Shadow Dancer and Revenge of Death Adder that never got proper home ports.
You won't be able to buy them, just play them with a subscription. Welcome to the future!

How do we know they haven’t changed the internal stick mechanisms? All we’ve seen so far is the shell.

This shit can be emulated on a toaster. Who pays for this shit.

I'm still annoyed Nintendo charge for online. I can't justify paying for 2 online services as I already pay for PSN. It's a shame as if it was free the game population would be much higher and I'd actually buy more games. I've sold Mario Maker 2 when I realised my online sub ran out and didn't want to resub.

I never bought the Nintendo Online special controllers since I used the 8bitdo DIY controller boards, which also work on my Shield TV. For anyone who bought the NES and SNES controllers from Nintendo: Do they use standard Bluetooth, or is it proprietary and only connects to the Switch system. I could use a Bluetooth N64 controller if it will connect to my Shield.

So...you're going to pay $5/month extra just to play like 8 N64 games and some Genesis games? Wow. This service is absolutely terrible
the problem is that the actual nintendo service is so DOG shit you legit can't call it online anything.
i can't even begin to think about where to start with laughing at how fucked the service is right now..
when their main titles lack the basic shit ps3 did.
