looking at your post history and the source of your post you are literally asking for a ban ha?

One is from quality mode while the other one is from performance mode, and his post is literally from a PS fanboy twitter account.

Was going to suggest that. 30FPS vs the 60FPS it seems every streamer is using

Yes, looks very nice. BUT, I do notice they did dial back LOD in vegetation since that reveal trailer. The canyon area does not look as dense nor does the jungle area or desert area. And the pop-in is fairly bad in performance mode looking at Stallion83's play through. Hopefully that can be mitigated.

No, it wasn't. There is a Forza Vista mode, then there is a gameplay mode. It was running on Series X before during the reveal, but they can enter Forza Vista modes that show off the environments more, and with ray tracing. If you look carefully at all of the new footage you will see areas super dense in vegetation. What you are seeing is simply a different location that's less dense, not a toned down level of vegetation.

Hopefully the game actually does have improved wheel support over FH4. All I need to know is if we can adjust FOV as well as seat position on PC. FOV should be there, but I have a feeling seat position won't be.

I don't think it's nitpicking per se. The initial reveal looked insane and was running at 60fps. They set the expectation for what FH5 would look like. And for the most part it does, but anytime there's a downward deviation from a reveal, it's sour a little bit.
Idk, when I saw the old footage I knew it was from a high end PC. Never expected the game to look like that on console performance mode. Maybe on the Series X Pro :messenger_beaming:

Game looks impressive. However, old footage was definitely from a PC that was most likely sporting a 3090.

Series S gameplay. Looks pretty good to me. Especially in the city. It's even got raytracing in the tune up shop

That probably looks and runs better than it will on high settings on my ageing pc build. MS really needs to be pushing facts like that, I'd be pretty tempted to buy a series s if I was a fan of Forza.

Customization is naughty

Being able to fix the trackwidth of cars is going to be a frikken godsend.
Bad fitment is a sin and should be punished with death.

Does bumping into other cars and objects have no effect?
Depends on the setting you choose.
You can have damage all the way from zero (nothing happens) -> Cosmetic(body damage) -> Limited(damages performance) -> Realistic(Can grenade the damn car)

Man this looks good.

I have a low-mid tier PC and XBO.

My access to next gen is via xCloud at the moment. And that's likely how I'm gonna play it.

P.S Loving TLoU 2 on PS Now for PC! Thank you Sony.

My goodness it looks amazing. One of the few cross gen games done right. I would be very curious to see how the base xbox one version fares.

But after seeing Super GT's video, I just dont see myself enjoying the game. it just doesnt look fun while racing. The series has always lacked that fun factor for me, and this just looks more of the same.

That LOD change :messenger_weary::messenger_weary::messenger_weary::messenger_weary::messenger_pensive:

God when will we get rid of those? FFS.

Don't get me wrong, the game looks amazing. But I absolutely hate LOD changes and they're literally happening right in front of you. I really hope in next gen only open world games this improves with these SSDs.

It's been my biggest complaint since they first showed the game off but I guess it is what it is.

It's quite noticeable I'm afraid. At least on that specific series S footage in the performance mode. Hopefully Series X and PC will have much higher settings to mitigate this.

On the pc footage from a couple months back, it was still there. Even on the initial reveal gameplay. This is just the engine of the game.

Yeah this is the fifth entry in so many years and I’m far more interested in what Playground will do with Fable, got a great feeling about it.

To me it's the opposite, the game is almost too much focused on fun. I've seen people complain that it doesn't really matter how well you drive, and it's true.

You can easily see the difference in foliage and draw distance between performance and quality mode, but the performance mode still looks incredible for a dynamic open world 4K 60fps game.

Wonder if we could get 1440p, with quality mode visuals & 60fps, down the line?
