I remember the very first time I loaded Halo up on my original Xbox and hearing that truly iconic soundtrack for the first time and just sitting there in awe at what I was hearing. I don't think I'd ever come across a game soundtrack that had such an emotional impact on me. To this day, it still gives me goosebumps.

SO! As Infinite is now upon us, I thought it would be cool to post some awesome versions of the soundtrack for us fans (old, new and soon to be made).

First up, the original. We can't start anything without that.

Come on, how incredible is that! When you hear the choir at the very beginning, you just know you're in for something special.

Now, the variations :)

First we have:

HALO - Theme Song LIVE IN A MEGA BATHROOM (Audience choir) by Game Music Collective [CONCERT 2020]"

Damned good version if you ask me. I like what they did instead of the choir part.

Next up:

Halo Theme (Warthog Run) || Metal Cover by RichaadEB ft. Jonathan Young

This is a great version as it's just a rock version which sounds phenomenal!

Next:

HALO - Theme Song LIVE | ORCHESTRA & CHOIR CONCERT [HQ] Music from OST Soundtrack

This is a truly beautiful version with a full orchestra and choir and really gets the goosebumps popping (is that a thing? oh well).

Up next:

Halo // The Danish National Symphony Orchestra & Eimear Noone (LIVE)

This is a really interesting version as it combines the traditional orchestra style with rock rifts and the singer is phenomenal.

Halo Theme in an Empty Church (CRAZY reverb)

This is ONLY the very beginning but it's a lone guy singing in an empty church. It's spellbinding how awesome his voice his and when you hear it, I think you'll agree.

And another:

Ohio State Marching Band - Tribute to Halo (Halftime show vs Nebraska 10/6/12)

When the video first opens, you think it's just going to be tacky and cheesy, but no! This is actually really well done and the choreography is superb. A great version.

Halo Theme (Ye Olde Medieval Version)

Ok, what the hell, I hear you ask? But trust me, this is as crazy good as it is just, well, crazy!

Right, I'm sure there are MANY more versions out there but it's actually quite amazing the impact this game has had on gamers from all around the world. You can't help but feel the chills when you hear the "Ohhh oh OH ohhhh" at the beginning (even though I can't write it out, you know the part I'm talking about :)

Anyway, I hope you enjoy and let's rock on! :)
