Resident Evil 3 Remake Was Sold For $60 Despite Marketing Concerns

TGO

Hype Train conductor. Works harder than it steams.
Greedy capcom is gonna see 5 dollars from me at best for this one.

Same for re4 remake if they cut any content.
RE4 actually has a lot of content so....5 dollars it is!

And back to what I said earlier, I had to check to make sure because it sounds like everyone paid more then it actually was.
And yep

Which usually translates to this being $40 or less without tax.

Edit: okay so the RRP was $59.99
Strange US stores actually charged the full RRP.

I actually got it on PC around launch for about $30, which felt fair. It wasn't until shortly after that I realized they were charging full price for it, which yeah, that's absurd, haha.

RE2 Remake? Totally worth $60. RE3 Remake? Not so much.
I think some of the changes in RE3 made it more fun (minus the disemberment of zombies being removed.)

To each their own for sure. My personal issue with the game was the price, length, and amount of content. Well, Nemesis basically being scripted to enter and leave within boundaries was weak too IMO. Overall, it just felt so shallow compared to RE2R. Which, yeah, RE3 WAS a shorter game, but still, as a remake why not add more rather than take away? I mean, the few things they cut and changed felt odd to me.

Agree, If its a Remake, add few things, make it more fun, but the way they saw it, was little bit of enhancements, and easy $60 for few million copies. They could have done so so much more....

Bought it day one and have no regrets. Would buy the rumored EE day one as well.
Game could habe been 2 hours longer but whatever. I‘d rather have short games with replayability these days than longer ones.

Nintendo sell 7th gen games for $60. This was fine at $60 though I got it for $40 three weeks after release. They knew.
