The experience that God of War offers is maintained in a perfect way.
PC Gamer - Morgan Park - 90 / 100
The best game on PS4 is now one of the best games on PC.
PCGamesN - Ian Boudreau - 9 / 10
Big, brash, and surprisingly poignant, God of War arrives on PC in fine shape. Don't pass up this chance to play a console classic.
Rock, Paper, Shotgun - Alice Bell - Unscored
God Of War is a fantastic action-adventure epic with beauty, bleakness and heart. Believe the hype: it really is very good.
Unboxholics - Θέμης Μπολτσής - Greek - Worth your time
God of War is undoubtedly a masterpiece that everyone should play. If you never had the change before, the PC port is ideal, as it enhances the already great looking game and satisfies on almost every front, with support for DLSS, ultrawide monitors and many accessibility and customization options.

I bought a sex doll, but I keep it inflated 100% of the time and use it like a regular wife
I hope the squal improves the layout of the map and streamlines the menu systems, it doesn't need to be an RPG there does not have to be like 100 different upgradables and menus.

I hope this happens because it would turn a very good game into a great one.
What wrong with the map? I enjoyed exploring it pretty much.

The RPG-Lite mechanics sucked tho, those felt tacked on just because.

I was going to snark that these scores are unsurprising, but then remembered the woeful state of HZD on PC when it was released. Good to hear that the same mistakes haven't been repeated.

So basically, after a wildly successful reboot of the franchise and gameplay mechanics. . .go back to what the game was before. Sounds solid.

I found trying to get to where you where going cumbersome at times, there where to many artificial barriers and specific whindy corridors you had to traverse.

Game runs terrible 3080 is close to 6 times faster than ps 4. Maxed out only 3 times. Resolution needs to be changed in windows. Wheres the mexican guy

I never said or suggested that.
I think GoW went in the right direction for story and combat, maybe there could be a bit more freedom with the camera but the combat and control in GoW is great.

I do not for a second believe that dozens of skills upgrades and armors had much if anything to do with the success of GoW. Over the shoulder camera, excellent presentation and a story that vibed with people did.

Sony games are weird when scaling up on PC. Getting Horizon to run at 120 fps on Original (PS4) settings mode is a nightmare. It runs fine at 4k 60 fps, but the moment you try to go up to 120 fps it simply stops scaling linearly even if you drop the resolution by half.

Higher graphical quality settings completely tanks the framerate. I just dont think these games are optimized for high settings, let alone ultra. Just settle for Medium or High settings like the PS4 Pro and they should run well at 4k 60 fps. 120 fps might be rough though.

I beat the main story on PS4 at release, but didn't do a lot of the optional content. Pre-ordered this the day it went live to show support of bringing older PS games to PC, and can't wait to play it again. I'll be going through all the valks and stuff this time for sure.

Only problem is that MH:Rise PC also released today, which I'll also be knee deep in.

Good problems to have. PC Bros are in for a good month.

I didn't buy a 3080ti to play at 60.
This is kind of weird and I'm coming from having a 3090. I'm well aware of what we have on the PC side and welcome the ability to play things at different resolutions and make concessions for higher performance. But the fact of the matter is that this game of the year and highly regarding game played just fine I'd lesser performance so just to have all the improvements at a solid 60 is good enough as the standard with this game was never anything higher given the console base.

Now if we were talking this being a PC game with 120hz+ performance as the barometer then you could argue that going to 60 you might be a little bit unacceptable. But for me given that I'm pretty fair about these things, locking this at a rock solid 60 frames a 4K is more than satisfying.
