"Yes, full of surprises. The Book of Boba 'full of surprises' series. [laughs] Yeah, we've got some good stuff coming up. Ooh, wait till episode seven, wow!"

That's all he said. Basically nothing or any hints to anything at all.

Be more interesting to see an actor say their series goes to shit than just say 'last episode, wow!'. By the actor paid to play the main role.

What else he gonna say? Mentions nothing about a connection.

The rumor that was going around before the show started was:

Boba and Fennec go to Maz's Castle on Takodana (from TFA) and Han and Luke are sitting there with Grogu.

Ah now that would be awesome if played right. I hope it's true, all of it.

The VFX crew shirts for the series had Grogu on them.

I hope that isn't your source as anyone who watched the show knows he's an icon.

Easy choice for a T-Shirt.

Spoiler sounds good, not gonna lie. Chances of that happening are slim. Know why?

$$$ , what would happen after that scene for a series about a mandolorian?

Nothing.

no it backs up the rumor though

But it wouldn't make sense including him on the crew shirt of a show that he isn't in.

If you're Bobby Roberts maybe?

Otherwise all you posted a quote from the actor saying something with happen and a T-Shirt with Baby Yoda as proof.

As in basically nothing at all.

I can’t tell if I don’t care much for the first 2 episodes or the actor. I don’t really like the way he looks or is playing him idk.

I couldn't figure out why the train was killing them to begin with. They were going so fast how could a bunch of raiders even bother them. I just didn't understand how either of them were relative to each other. I enjoyed the episode, but the issue for the sand people was completely fabricated.
Tuskens claim the Dune Sea. When Jabba was around he was able to keep the Syndicate out of there. Now that Jabba is gone the Syndicate is running their spice train through it.

Episode three was a doozy. Underwhelmed with the special effects. They really cut corners here. Not sure how I feel about this latest addition to his crew. I like how their whole aesthetic seems to be a nod to George Lucas's early years as a huge Californian hipster petrol head.

I think the story is finally going someplace though I think I already have things figured out.

Everything about this looks and feels cheap. Not like the "six hour movies" that were hyped up, in regards to Star Wars and MCU, before Disney+ launched.

I'm hanging in there because Boba is a bad mother-effer, but the ride is getting bumpy.

The Marvel shows are filming in real places. The Star Wars shows are filming in Unreal Engine.

Eh, might not be the case anymore, in the Black Widow scenes at a table are done with a blue screen.

I know you don’t actually watch this stuff before commenting in these threads, but Black Widow is a movie.

WandaVision and Falcon were filmed in Atlanta (some of Falcon was in Prague) and most of Hawkeye was in NYC. That’s vastly different than the Star Wars shows that are being filmed on a soundstage in Manhattan Beach and a railroad yard in El Segundo.

Don't see how that counters that green/blue screens are used more often than you'd think in Marvel/Disney productions.

A lot of Hawkeye was filmed in Atlanta.

Three episodes in now and the show is not getting better.......this episode actually stunned me with how bad it was. Whoever edited this show must've been drunk or rushed to meet deadline, and the script had to have been found at the bottom of some high schooler's locker.

I feel like they should've just done a two-part feature film if this is the story they wanted to tell. The Mandalorian episodes each had a self-contained story, with an over-arching plot. This show tries to follow that release format, but the story isn't working this way. So far it seems they've taken the rising action of a narrative, arbitrarily chopped it up and slapped credits at the beginning and end.

Part 1 of the movie should've dealt with the Sarlaac, Tuskens and lead up to the present. As such, the Tusken narrative in episode 3 fell completely flat. It was so obvious what they were going for, and it was complete cringe. With a tighter narrative focus and natural progression, the story may have been at least decent. Instead, this show is a mess.

Time to release that pristine copy of it George has locked away (that he’s made copies of, Carrie Fisher was given one as payment for doing the DVD commentaries).

Worse "chase" i've seen since the fucking podrace in the second worst triology ever made.

Holy shit that was baaaaaaaaaad, almost as bad as the hipstercrew and their M&M scooters felt so out of place half of it would be enough to be a homemade SW-themed porn.

Its so fucking cringe, all of it. This show is bad. I love as soon as the fight scene with the Wookie ended he walks out with a fucking bathrobe on :messenger_tears_of_joy:

I thought the hipster bike was not very Star Wars. And a dumb chase sequence that looked slow and cumbersome. Also why do they have to show the guy a gun to threaten him? They were both holding guns.

“I’m holding a gun, if you don’t feel threatened here is a gun in a holster”.

I’m having fun watching the show. I actually do hope they have a dumb pod race. I guess being in a sarlac pit for a couple minutes really softens a guy up.

I loled at this hard. The chase sequence was the slowest lowest stakes car chase sequence I’ve ever seen on film it looked more like an animatic pace wise than a finished fx shot like I’m pretty sure they were trying for hokey but they over did it.

i hate everything post OT...but im enjoying this show and enjoy mandalorian. I like how slow paced and more storytelling this shows been...with some great action like the train scene. I feel like this is more whining to whine.
The only issue with this show , like mando is that its forever tied to the shit prequels and sequels...i cant imagine how much better these sgows would be if favreau didnt have to include that garbage lore.

My favorite part was the wookie dude running away after being let go. I'm not saying he should walk away, but...it just looked bad.

I also liked how quickly the twins disappeared.
I wonder if this show shows that Favreau and Filoni aren't THE STAR WARS GODS people hoped they'd be.

If Boba Fett was like 10 during Attack of the Clones, shouldn't he be about 11 years older than Luke Skywalker? Low to mid 30s in this time period? Yet he looks 65.

Ooph, the action in ep3 was TERRIBLE. How do you simultaneously A. make a WOOKIE a chump fight but B. make the folks who beat a wookie ALSO chumps? And that speeder chase, WTF? Either Rodriquez is just biting off more than he has the budget to chew or it was a deliberate choice and it was WRONG WRONG WRONG. Bad enough that the rainbow gang just look ridiculous, but having the chase edited so poorly was icing on the cake. Bryce Howard (doing ep4 and I have high expectations) and this Steph Green lady (did ep2) are 10x the Star Wars TV director Rodriguez is, I hope he isn't doing any more eps. Filoni isn't great at directing either, but I hope he is still learning his live action chops if he does an ep for this show.

There is a fundamental problem with the structure of the show. Either it really has no purpose or they are holding on to their cards for WAAAAY too long. Fett seems totally disinterested in being a damiyo, clearly has spent significant time in the mando eps being away from this bacta tank/revenge(?) nonsense so why is it so all consuming now? I'm assuming he is doing the "work my way up the totem pole to the head of the snake" as payback for the sand people massacre but sheesh, why so sloppy? This could have been the Punisher of Star Wars, but instead we are getting a very sloppy Godfather pastiche.
