Not saying that its CG during the trailer should be criminal

Obviously, it looks impressive. But I doubt that the gameplay will look like this, otherwise they would have shown it.

Being developed by an unknown company ...

Dont hold your breath hoping that this will be the next Top Spin

Edit: oh ok, they made the Tropico series.

Well is it CG? Because the light looks absolutely flat with no contrast. Which may indicating this is real time in which case, animation is impressive.

I would love a good tennis game, but I'm always disappointed. Tried World Tour Tennis 2 or whatever it's called, it was just awful.

I tried AO Tennis 2, I think that's what it's called. The graphics and gameplay were decent, but the damn controls just never felt good. I really hope we can finally get a true Top Spin successor.

Itching for a great tennis game. Interesting they put a young US player in the trailer. I wonder who is in and who is out from this game?

The game isn't great going by the reviews so far.....and so Top Spin from 2011 to THIS DAY.....remains the best tennis game you can get on a Sony/Microsoft platform....

Reviewed by Tristan Ogilvie on Xbox Series X. Also available on PlayStation, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

"Matchpoint Tennis Championships serves up a smooth-playing and simple-to-control game of tennis - to the point where you have to go out of your way to miss a shot - but saddles it with a career mode that's so lacking in spectacle and any sense of meaningful progression that it almost made me wish I'd taken a desk job instead. Multiplayer matches are more dynamic but noticeably light on options, and the complete lack of doubles play severely diminishes any appeal it may have had for game night gatherings on the couch. There's a solid baseline to build on in the future, but Matchpoint Tennis Championships ultimately feels like a tentative first serve for the series."
