I wonder how they pick which accounts to give that invite to. My PSN account is like 13 years old now, and I ain’t seen shit from them. But I did get a PS5 in July so maybe they see I have one

If at any point any of you would like to talk publicly, do so below. However if you desire private conversations, just PM.
Too many kpop fans were showing up on my timeline, so I had to shut it down.

Sitting in my car waiting for it to warm up. I just left a fart so disgusting I had to open the windows. That one must have been brewing a while.
And here I am in gyms shorts and a t-shirt waiting for the Windows install ISO to download while listening to ZZ Top. Conspicuously not hot boxing myself with stale farts.

I've had my primary drive be a 256gb SSD for years. I've been running everything else across a few TBs of old HDD space. I am really looking forward to just having the entire thing on one drive + spare files backed up on one of the HDDs. Should have done this years ago.
Question for you: how will you move your old files to the new ssd? My new laptop is a joy but it's 1tb and has no expansion slots so I'll need to bust the bank in a 2tb or more at some point and i dunno how to bring my existing information across to a new windows install..

Question for the general posse:
Do warnings linger permanently? I've got like 3 warnings, all of them spread way apart, all of them expired long before i got my next, but i see I'm 3/3 , so presumably I'm on the verge of a week off despite doing one (presumably two, to earn the ban) bad things in "expiry date" memory?

I'm not complaining about the warnings I deserved dem bitchez :D

I have secondary drives that are housing the files.

They expire and are not in consideration.

A few random thoughts that occurred to me during a long bike ride:

Nush: East of araby there squats a colossal mind which never forgets
Nobody_important: never gave up, never surrendered
Maiden_Voyage: traveling minstrel keeps it real
Mrfancypants: living a soulsborn forum playthrough, has mastered the sex boss but occasionally falls to the booze boss, respawns with renewed vigor.
Richard Packer and Haxan7: actually one person, and we're all pawns in their tantric masturbatory master plan.
Tschumi: has some forum-fu, shouldn't post while procrastinating

Well I've arrived now so I'll stop procrastinating !

I literally suck at most soulsborne games. I think the most soulsborne-like game I was actually good at and completed (and enjoyed) was Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. And even that wasn’t too soulsborney.
If you do want to get better, Dark Souls 1 is a great option. It's the only one I've personally beaten, though I own everything else besides Blood Bourne.

You need to remedy that ASAP. Bloodborne is the superior Souls game imo.
When it comes to PC I'll give it a go but honestly I doubt I will enjoy it. I vastly prefer the slower pace of combat in DS1. DS3 is almost unplayable for me. I got a decent way through 2 but dropped off for one reason or another. Sekiro seems decent but it couldn't hold my interest either.

Bloodborne was actually the first soulsborne game I played, and my first experience of true rage-quitting. I broke a DualShock playing that cunt of a game. I never did complete it. I might have to revisit it sometime.
It's nails, but I love the flow of combat. I can understand Maiden's preference for a more slower paced game (I do think there's more tension in DeSo and Dark Souls) but something about the way BB operates is just class as fuck.

JFO was an amazing elaboration of the genre, freaking incredible. Real magic. I'm glad you beat it.

Demon's Souls remake and Sekiro are my favourite titles, Sekiro lets you be so much more agile and resourceful it's easier despite being harder.. demon's souls remake is a dream

I thoroughly enjoyed the game and consider it one of the best games of 2019. The story was well paced, the graphics were great, and the combat flowed perfectly. It requires thought and precision, as well as patience, but isn’t too extreme in difficulty. It’s just a shame EA never released any story-based DLC.

Totally with you, i couldn't finish it because i lost my save and didn't want to go back through the hours i did finish, but I'll do so one day

Bloodborne is the only one I'd like to play again, with some tweaks, on a pc release.

I enjoyed Demon's Souls on ps3, though I don't want to touch it anymore. Didn't like the Dark Souls games. Elden Ring looks great, but mostly more Dark Souls, so I'm pretty sure I wouldn't like it.

What don't you dig about them?

How did you find Sekiro?

Off topic: I'm playing cyberpunk on my new laptop with "ultra ray tracing" and it is fucking M.i.n.t

I don't like how long you have to wait for openings to attack and generally how slow the physics are. Also, while I appreciate the variety of combat options, the hitboxes and area of effect for attacks does not feel precise to me in Dark Souls.

I kind of think Sekiro would seem better on that stuff to me, but I haven't started it up yet. I will though. I own it on xbox.

I can’t remember if you said you own a PS5 or not, but FO benefits from a free upgrade to the system if you already own the PS4 version. If you don’t own a PS5 yet, maybe hold off playing it until you do to play in beautiful 60FPS.

Never fear, I'm 5'd up!

I don't want to overstate it because i could just be feeling romantic tonight but i... I can't even... Sekiro is... As monolithic to me as Half Life or other Ur-games like that

New avatar:
David Bowie superimposed over my original avatar's Kazuki from Front Mission 3. I deleted the jpeg after uploading it but forgot to clean up his hair outline, but whatever. Bowie because of what his music means to me, and its excellence; Front Mission 3 because it transported me to the 90s when i discovered it on my vita and awoke countless forgotten memories.

I really, really should replay FM3. One of my favorite PS1 games. I loved the internet mechanic and would spend so much time trying to find logins.
