disappointing loading times for a first party game, 1080p cb on ps4 must be first time we seen, nice they added folliage interactivity, hero lightning shows big improvement in some scenes but have feeling quality generaly is not on level of first gameplay trailer that looks awsome
This Guy who also did a review for the game said that the first gameplay trailer of the game look exactly the same in the final game.

I haven't spotted any difference outside of resolution in the banned source video, and the video covered every single graphical element. Probably due to compression, but i hope that's really the case.
The differences are pretty clear based on images from that video posted here. Guess you have defaults into 480p mode on youtube or something.

PS4 is magic, unbelievable,bravo... Ps5 seems to have better lighting and physics, perhaps, low res YouTube doesn't reveal anything more to me

It's fundamentally graphically the same, it's a last generation game which is what everyone with a modicum of common sense was saying all along. You obviously had the PS fanboys claiming it looked as good as the Hellblade 2 footage, as laughable as that sounds now it was many posters on here saying just that. I'm getting this probably unless it turns out average (unlikely IMO).
Yup. People looked at me like I was crazy when I said the PC version of HZD would look similar or better than the PS5 version. I knew the graphics engine was going to be the same for HFW therefore not much new features (i.e. RT) was going to be implemented. The results prove there is no generational jump between the two games like many assumed - just small differences (i.e. hero light rig) that can easily be implemented without an entirely new graphics pipeline. The games look great on all the platforms!

The shadow difference is quite big, although I think we need to see this from the source as a whole (not YouTube compression bs) to truly appreciate the difference between platforms.

Yes, PC gamers justify their 2K hardware upgrades for this kind of improvement and no one bats an eye.
I knew this would happen. We've heard for years that there is a mild difference between Ultra and other lower end settings or better yet, the PC version of the AAA 3rd party titles is negligible compared to the console counterparts but NOW the PS4 vs. PS5 is a drastic difference and justifies buying a PS5.

How to make posts that age like milk in just a couple of hours..

Head-to-heads vs the first Horizon Zero Dawn show profound improvement across a number of systems, the most striking being water rendering (a huge, huge improvement!), character rendering and crucially, animation. As a sequel then, the improvements are palpable for users of PS4 and Pro - it's just that PS5 delivers that generational leap on top. It's the complete package.

Errr, Sony was promising new games for a new generation. Their flip flop is the cause of this being a cross gen game.

What you were saying is that a purpose built next gen game will be no better than your mighty undefeatable PC running a last gen game. Why pretend bro? You're not justified here in any way.
