Guys, ignore the article, buy please don't ignore the gif on the second tweet on OP. It's amazing.

Anyway, the game development was literally started a decade ago, so....

Besides that... All animations on the game suck. It's not a particular targeted "bad" deciption of woman. They were extra equal in giving everyone every character animation little to no care.

Fun game, though.

The hilarity of the woke mob weirdos is when they complain about something like this it shows that they are the ones that are actually out of touch. To think that South Korean developers should adhere to the dogma of weirdo "progressives" in the United Staties (who are a vocal minority in the first place) is pure narcissist, self centered, main character bullshit.

Just because attractive women being feminine make you feel uncomfortable for whatever reason doesn't mean the rest of the world feels the same way. I'm tired of this silly puritanical silliness that's pumped out by these types. It reminds me of the early 90s where weirdo Christian conservatives were on the same shit and everyone just made fun of them

I mean, it is ridiculous as in it looks weird as hell, but not in the sense that kotaku puts it.

Having said that, and after watching the clips a few times, I kind of respect them for being different. I mean, its a fantasy game, and if they want to give their carachters a weird ass walk cycle, why not. It looks... cool at least, once you get used to it.

Yeah, the animations are bad, but Kotaku, and their ilk, only have a problem with sexy female characters because they're hideously trollish in real life. They won't be happy until every female character looks like dogshit. Can't have feminine women because the women they know all have 5 o'clock shadows and Adam's apples.

Seriously, every time you see an article like this check out what the author looks like, and how many identifiers they have on their twitter handle, and you'll know exactly why these freaks write the articles they do.

Kotaku’s market might just be triggering sensitive people.

My girlfriend had a similar reaction to me playing Genshin Impact. She was like, “Why does she walk like a whore?” I just wanted to get the free Alloy skin. Never did reach level 20 though.

"A decade out of date"? I still enjoy a lot of things 10+ years old. Hell, I still listen to Pink Floyd a ton. It's crazy to think that fictional worlds come under the same tired-scrutiny as the real one. What's out of date is this argument. Let creators create. Ignore the stuff you don't like. I don't like BTS, but you don't see me writing, edgy scathing commentary about them... well maybe just then. You get my point.

They also tend to have degenerate sexual urges and fetishes, so they lash out at sexualized content because it triggers something ugly deep inside of them.

Remember that guy on reeee who got caught with a bunch of pedo shit on his computer and is currently serving jail time and is now a registered sex offender? That’s the type of person who writes articles like this.

I mean, that's the main thing that put me off Genshin Impact. All the characters are sexualised.

But you know what I did? Stopped playing and didn't complain on any forums about it. If people like that, then they are free to play it and enjoy it. I don't want to ruin others' fun just because it's not for me.

Never see these people call out Kojimas obsession with sticking man ass in your face. Or bb ass for that matter.

I genuinely worry for these people who spent their youth covering up and making everyone else cover up. Theyll get old and saggy and wrinkled and have never had that experience of being young and outrageous. I think theyll regret it.

I did dumb shit when i was young and glad i did. I cant really do it now. If id spent that time turning down everything going on around me i know id feel older and regretful now.

Fare thee well

I mean asthetically the male characters aren't my style at all (female feels pretty typical mmorpg given what I've played), but who fucking cares if someone enjoys things that way? If someone wants to make a game where everyone walks around in the nude, and people love it? Fuck it, let it happen 😄

Kotaku playbook:

1. Look at what game is very popular at any moment
2. Look for something to get offended over in said game, preferably something that can harness the Twitter outrage crowd
3. Write article on how [game title] is offensive to [enter gender/race/sexuality group here]
4. Let the traction on social media and following rage clicks commence
5. ???
6. Profit!

When I clicked this thread I was 100% sure it was going to be some dumb ass complaints regarding sexy female characters but lmfao that walk from that twitter video is ridiculous. Cmon...

This. These articles mostly exist because they get circulated by every sane person who gets pissed off at it. Just need to start ignoring these asses.

To my defense, I would never give Kotaku the satisfaction of actually clicking on their article and going to their website, assuming OP has taken one for the team and done it for us to copy paste the text here.

For once, it seems, "out of date" doesn't mean "insufficient fellation of our moral code," but literally from another era. The second one is actually making me nostalgic for B-tier PS2 Japanese ARPG animations.

This is the second thread you have wholesale lifted from Era today.

I gave you the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe, you were the OP in that thread. If you want to have those discussions here, at least make the threads your own or pick different quotes.

I don't want to see this place start looking like an Era copycat.

Who cares?
