Ross announced his new role on Tuesday in a tweet promoting nearly 50 job vacancies at the Square Enix studio.

“I’m excited to announce I now work at the amazing Crystal Dynamics as Design Director,” he wrote. “That’s all I can say other than I’m thrilled with the project, and especially the team of really wonderful people.”

I love the work he did on Days Gone and I hope he goes back to Sony eventually

I think if Sony greenlit Days Gone 2 he'd still be at Bend, maybe it'll happen down the road

Hopefully he stays far away from the new Tomb Raider... But I'm betting he was hired to work on that game. There goes the little excitement I had.

good for him. he was treated unfairly at sony

How? He got to put out a zombie open world game with a Sons of Anarchy reject as the main character. If that doesn't scream "We like you and respect your talent" I don't know what does.

Sounds like good news, I hope it ends well for him and that they treat him good as well.

I'm not sure if good or not... I hope it is for good.
He is not a guy easy deal and likes to talk too much about things unnecessary to outsiders.

What a Shitty post. “Not sure if it’s good”…for who? The guy is clearly delighted. And Crystal Dynamics interviewed him and thought him a good fit for the role…with his experience and public statements brought into consideration.

This shit has being quoted so many times by ignorant people.
You didn't play the game stop lying. You got this from era
She was making a joke about what happened early in the game.
I haven't played the game but, even as a "joke", I'm trying to figure out in what possible context it doesn't still come across as a trashy hillbilly type comment?

People quote it because it's embarrassing writing, no matter the "context."

i already said the quote isn't her literally meaning that. that's a joke that is not related to her. but of course, the era lurkers pick shit out of the context.
So it's not a double entendre involving a motorcycle being said during a wedding ceremony ... is that what you're saying?

there was a scene where that quote is mentioned, the context of that joke is deacon wasn't expecting Sarah to say that after a previous conversation they had about it. which i have no clue where it was anymore

anything can sound stupid without context.

edit: fuck yeah found it

as Gavin said, these reviewers didn't finish the game. fucking idiots

Well IMO, I always knew it was an inside joke of some sort. It's clearly written that way. My problem with it (without ever playing the game, I admit!) is that it's just bad writing IMO. Because it really does make the characters look even more redneck than just wearing jean jackets and riding on a motorcycle through a zombie apocalpyse while wearing a backwards baseball cap. I mean come on. I seriously have no interest in the game because of the way the characters are presented. And if it's not bad writing, then it's just reinforcing the stereotype of certain kinds of people being "trashy." I mean that kind of joke at the wedding alter ... wtf. :messenger_tears_of_joy:

It's embarrassing.

You don't have to agree.
