Babylon’s Fall dropped to just one concurrent player on PC

Platinum needs a ton of oversight or something like babylon fall happens. They seem to work well with Nintendo, other than star fox, but that was most miyamoto that caused that disaster
Skimming their game history they do seem to have the most success doing bright action games for Nintendo. When they do multiplats it's hit and miss.

I just checked SteamDB now. About 17,000 playing, where it ranges from 10,000-20,000 depending on time of day and day of the week. Not bad for a year and half old game that got grilled to high heaven.

As for Babylon's 1 person player count, SteamDB shows you got to get to the ~4000 game mark to get to games being played by 1 person.

Senator Armstrong should have had been voice my r lee ermey, seriously biggest flaw in the game
But used to?? Astral chain was a mere 3 years ago and fantastic
Sol Cresta is solid and that ios game they made is supposedly ok too, Babylon fall is clearly the exception not the rule
Also can't wait for Bayonetta 3 to receive universal acclaim in a few months

I'm worried about Bayonetta 3 now.

Why? There are numerous development groups within PG which is why you have varying degrees of success with their products: for every Bayonetta or Astral Chain there's a group working on a TMNT or Babylon's Fall to keep the lights on.

Exposing the sinister cartel of retailers who allow companies to pay for advertising space.
Square Enix sold its western studios because Tomb Raider, Avengers and GotG barely made a profit, but making at least some profit is still preferable compared to outright losing money. Babylon's Fall and Stranger of Paradise were both sales failures. I don't think Forspoken will set the charts on fire as well. How many flops can Square Enix endure before it affects the future of the company?

Did Stranger of Paradise really perform poorly? I thought it received decent reviews and community opinions??

Oof.

Didn't expect that... I wonder why? It's not a bad game imo.

Probably cause it looks and runs like a launch PS3 game (not hyperbole). Among those who had some interest, the demo's generic af environments, unbalanced difficulty, and bloated inventory/skill trees also probably turned a lot of people off.
