Xbox Cloud Gaming now has over 10 million players

Is this a joke?
Why is it a joke? xCloud launched in 2020, how can people try to spin this as a positive? 10m unique players so far is pathetic, specially since it's included on Gamepass Ultimate (different from Stadia where you had to go out of your way to play it and it wasn't so easy to just try it).

Yep,

Lying to investors is a regular and totally not illegal occurrence around there. :pie_eyeroll:

That said, can you imagine a car manufacturer/dealership passing test drives as anything other than?

It’s just another Sillicon Valley bs special, fake till you make it la la land.

Not even 2 years, I mean how is that a negative exactly? I'd call it a decent start and you have to take into account internet speeds are still not great overall.

I mostly use cloud gaming to do the quests and get the reward points without having to wait for games to install. Booted No Mans Sky to the title screen then switched and played Batman for about 5 minutes to beat up 5 people to earn like 150 total reward points. My monthly and weekly challenges also stacked for another 1100 points. Cloud gaming is good for getting reward points.

Come on...

Everyone could instantly admit Stadia and PSNow were big flops but no matter how poorly xCloud does and how much it fails to be disruptive in any way despite the aggressive pricing people won't ever consider it's just as underwhelming as any other services like this.

Geforce Now looks like the most successful service but it also includes a free membership tier so it's hard to conclude much about it having 14m+ subs.

Look foward to seeing the numbers when X Cloud comes to smart tvs. 10 Million already is very good for game streaming.

It’s nothing paramount or world breaking but calling it pathetic is pretty extreme, but these hot takes from you are becoming pretty common so I guess it’s kind of expected to see you react this way.

It can become an addiction. At least it's a quick fix.

Sometimes it's funny, too. Like making your Sims character piss themselves a couple of times for reward points. I think the only challenge I haven't liked is the one to get 10 laps in the F1 game. That game bores me to tears.

I remember that one from a couple of weeks ago. You had to remove the toilet from the house and make a bunch of coffee and force your dude to drink it. Hilarious stuff. Yeah....some are better than others. I enjoy doing them though.

xCloud is great. Have beat more than 10 games on it. Let's f* go
I just started The Nonary Games on it yesterday, and the touch controls for it are way better than wielding the cursor on the console. Feels like a full mobile port. I hope AI: The Somnium Files and Drangonropa have similar options.

It's one case where I'd say Xcloud is better than the console version.

Makes me wonder what other games have superior touch support like that, (I feel like really all point and click games should.)
