My favourite of the series. I remember being blown away by it on the GameCube all those years ago. Hope they deliver with this.

Yeah, the game will probably be Village 2 rather than anything to do with RE4. But I guess this is what sells today, shame.

Still disappointed Code Veronica and 0 were skipped as those needed improved versions far more than the perfection known as RE 4. But still, looks awesome.

0 visually looks better than Code Veronica and RE4 so... 👀 and it got that remaster. Not happening.

0 using the Revelations 2 style of the partner system would help 0’s pacing issues quite a bit. Plus improving the enemy design (WAY too much emphasis on animals), and not making the antagonist all Final Fantasy like would be great.

The remaster part is irrelevant as 4 also got a remaster.

I fear this is going to happen. RE4 is a massive game with numerous biomes and locations. Even if you exclude the post-game stuff like Ada's story.

I really really hope that I'm wrong though.

If you notice the letters R and E are coloured red, which implies REborn or REmake or something along those lines (on all 3 remade games' titles). So, the remake thing is not stated clearly but is alluded and implied.
In Japan, they're called Biohazard RE:2, Biohazard RE:3 and Biohazard RE:4.

It will not be as good as the original. It just won't. Original is one of my top games of all time.

But it could stand on its own as something good.
