Still playing Elden Ring, Haligtree area now, Fire Giant is down too but I need to finish some NPC quests before I go further. GOTY

Bloodborne, it's my my first souls game and I can't even get past the first part
I think when you die from the thing on the bridge, you get the bell to summon a co-op person. Thats what I did to get the bridge beast killed. Then I got the hang of things some and beat other bosses myself.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. It was a gift, I love this game already from the very start. It calls for the same level of mastery with controls that SNES DKC games had. Not as difficult ad\s those games, but I'm super glad that this game is challenging. I'm going to try to 100% it

Nickelodeon Brawl since it was free this month. Spamming pies with Garfield is fun.

Didn't get around to tales of arise which I said I would.

Just finished umurangi generations (really liked it),
getting through TMNT (it's okay, no SoR for me) might just finish the story with one turtle.
Spent about 30/40 hrs in vampire survivor (great but burnt myself out)
Going to start omori once I finish TMNT

If you have the special edition don't redeem all dlc brainlessly like I did, a friend gave it to me and I went from lvl 0 to 50 just by redeeming them which ruined the fun.

I've been playing KOTOR and Crusader Kings 2.

I've played CK3 extensively and going back to CK2 was definitely an experience. CK3 is a lot more intuitive but CK2 has better options and narratives.

Thinking about starting Person 5 Royal tonight but have a feeling the social / teenage drama side of things will piss me off too much.

I bought a sex doll, but I keep it inflated 100% of the time and use it like a regular wife
After THAT announcement all I can do is go back to Bitterblack and slap Daimon's ass once again in Dragon's Dogma.

Playing on PC, post your pawns if you want me to take them on some cool adventuring.

How are those two? Neon White looked very original and TMNT seems like a fun game.
Neon White is really good. If you like gyro controls a lot then I recommend it. I'm sure it's possible to play it on dual stick only but the gyro is just infinitely more accurate, and the game goes very fast. It's extremely addicting to replay levels because they're all these short little time trials with shooting and platforming and are mostly under 1 minute. But they're really quite technical and fun to figure out. Each one is a bit of a puzzle almost. Reminds me of the best of Mirror's Edge 1 when it was actually about shaving seconds off runs, only you have guns as well. And your guns have alt fire modes that can be used for platforming. And all the guns are represented by cards, so you're sometimes juggling the cards slightly to get in the right order and hit your jumps. I'm getting a bit obsessed with it. Going to go home and just replay all of world 1 again to try and shave some seconds off my times. Then there's the anime story, which seems fine. Reviews say it's decent. There's supposedly some limited side quests too but I haven't gotten too far. Main character is voiced by Cowboy Bebop Spike guy. The core of the game for me is just nearly flawless gyro controls, and 60 fps. Feels good to play.

TMNT is just a much better version of TMNT arcade. More depth to the moves, but it's still a casual beat em up. Very well made. Really worth a purchase I'd say. Nice animations.

Both get a recommendation from me. Neon White is definitely the more unusual of the two so that will be up to each person to decide if they want it I guess.

Thanks man! By how you describe it Neon White seems right out my alley, so I just added it to my wishlist/backlog.

Almost done with RE Village but since I don‘t like the final fortress area that I already booted CV on the side. Even though it‘s one of the less good classic REs it has a special place in my heart. Because boy was I angry when it came out only for the Cube at first - and happy when it finally reached PS2.

Just got my 200th platinum - Days Gone.

Great game, I'm surprised it launched with so little fanfare. It's one of the best open-world games out there.

Game was shit at launch with tons of bugs. Glad they managed to savage it because for what I played (got it way after release) it was a pretty fun zombie game.

I've been playing some games on PS3 because I miss the PS3 era (was playing pretty much on PC all the time).

I'm playing Infamous 1 rn and holy crap, this game is fucking fun.

I played Second Son and the DLC on PS4 and love them all. But Infamous 1 has way more fun aspect to it, imo. When you unlock a new power, the gameplay changed considerably.

The game doesn't have top notch graphics or animations, but man its one of the most fun open world games i played. Also, the side missions are really diverse and fun.

Btw, some aspect of Infamous 1 reminds me a lot of Sunset Overdrive.

Can't wait for Infamous 2 :).

This series need to come back on PS5!

Red Dead 2 on PC and Ghostwire Tokyo on PS5.

Red Dead is great but for some reason I only find myself playing in small chunks. It's going to take me a while.

I just started Ghostwire the other night and onplay played about three hours. I definitely like it so far even though it's a bit weird.

Finally got a Ps5 and will finally play Elden Ring, I'm really excited for this weekend.

Will put Tales of Arise on hold. Though I reached a turning point in the story and even the opening changed so it works well as it almost feels I'm taking a break before starting season 2 of some anime.

I have been playing Returnal like I'm obsessed. I beat the game two weeks ago for the first time, and since I've beat it again, then a 3rd time in co-op.

I think this may be the first game I platinum.
It's crazy because I've was probably stuck on the first level for about 1/3 of the time I've had the game.

Probably the first game I've played where the first boss is one of the hardest in the game.

Get the remastered ones in my opinion, you get the ability to fast forward things if you want.

Real useful if you plan to go completionist

i had ~£8 in my steam account so got that version. only had to pay ~£2.

M1987 M1987 found some help through those videos?
It's been a massive help, thanks. I'm gonna go back to it in a bit. These souls games are so different to anything I have ever played before. I think I have been trying to beat the first werewolf for about 4 hours 😂

Remastered might be the wrong word but actually think it was. I just wouldn't recommend the OG one unless you wanted to kill some time. One of the summons can take 3 minutes.

The steam one is fine, it should have the ability to speed up battles. Wouldn't personally use any of the other conveniences.
