The NPD sales threads for TLOU remake are going to be very interesting, to say the least.

One of my favorite games is being made even better. That said I won't be there day one instead just waiting for it to release on PS+ extra.

Guess we'll find out after the game releases. If a remake of an already remastered game can still sell well at that beefy price, then get used to that sticker shock.

Please understand.

I was just disagreeing with his general statement. I’m not disagreeing that The Last of Us 2 remake is pricy at 70$. I need to see more before I can say it’s too expensive. However missing out the multiplayer is a pretty big hit and certainly hurts its value. They have to make that up elsewhere. I’m hoping for some lengthy gameplay footage in the future.

I find these sorts of thread funny for various reasons.

1. I rarely pay full price for games because Sony is one of the companies that drops price really quickly (side eye Nintendo)
2. The worth of something is determined by what the market is willing to pay for it.
3. On one hand in TLOU 2 sales thread some people used "but did it sell at full price?" as an argument why 10 million in sales aren't impressive but, in this thread, same people don't want to pay full price for a game. I see you all in the voting NO list. Lol
4. Idk where I'm going with this list but I'm looking forward to playing this remake but not at full price obviously. In 3 to 6 months when it drops to $50.

Not more than the game with that pathetic aim assist for baddies that can't be turned off.

Aim assist should work even better fool.
Analog sticks are terrible vs KB/Mouse in precision.
Sure. Should be auto-aim. Much better game play. Should have auto-move too. Even better. Or everything should be auto. Perfect game best ever.

And thanks for proving my point.

What a ignorant clown you are.
We don't have auto aim.
Controller with aim assist can't compare to KB/Mouse.

if you are having problems with controller players.... YOU SUCK

You have a post history of bitching about controller players having aim assist and are uneducated/ignorant on the matter.
So you aren't getting off the hook. Sorry.
Wrong. I have a post history about me not having the option to disable aim assist in some games. I don't care about how others play.

Don't pass gaas, it is your Destiny!
Legit question: if TLOU remake is worth $70 for you, then how much would TLOU Part 3 worth?

Depends if it gets an engine change and less features then it’s worth nearly double what it should be

Fuck no, and it's my favorite single player campaign of all time. But luckily my friend texted me asking if I wanted to halfsies.

Edit: Why didn't they package LOU2 with it to market it towards newcomers?

Because the native PS5 version of 2 will come later around the show's launch and be bundled together, silly.

You have cried about controller players having aim assist.
Even tried comparing it to aim bot(like above)
No, I have not. Again, I don't care about others having aim assist. I care about me not being able to turn off, like in TLOU 1.
You really needed a /s above there.

I mean it's one thing if the price never comes down, but it will eventually. People can wait as they always have been for sales.

It's as if they are going to miss something by not getting it day 1. Maybe they feel that they have to now avoid spoilers online during that timeframe. This is generally speaking of any game that's high priced btw.

People are stupid and that’s all

Yes you’re right about that. I waited for many games to drop price before buying them. Which isn’t an issue with Sony first party titles since they do tend to drop in price rather quickly.

Any remake or remaster that has less content than the original game did at release should not cost $70.
Not to mention giving no discount to people who've already bought Last of Us Remastered ....which had Factions.

Also, shouldn't the graphics be even better than Last of Us 2? LoU2 came out 2 years ago on the ps4 now we're on a completely new generation console which is much more powerful AND its not a cross gen game!

If they don't implement tlou2 's gameplay systems then there'll be hell to raise about the pricing.

I know Druckmann said they are improving gameplay, but we have yet to see any proof of that. So the burden of proof is on them & idk why they're waiting so long to show the gameplay changes.. unless there aren't any

After my first and only play through of the game my comment was, how do you play somthing after that?

Fast forward a few yrs and I watched DrD do a play through and I saw flaws that just didnt hit me at the time, namely some sections that are drug out or seem to be added as filler. IDK, great game no desire to revisit.
