nVidia beat AMD for the worst GPU of 2022

But given the age of the GTX 1030 and the node used, for a business would that really be an option? Even though this is called at GTX 1630, is it really a 1630 by node, or really a GTX 3030 or 2030?

It might not seem like it matters when the performance versus price is so poor, but the NV_GPU_EXTs, etc from a 10xx won't be the same - hopefully not, although all bets are off -as a 16xx. 20xx or 30xx series card made and designed many years later IMO, which would affect driver support duration.

The GTX 1630 is a Turing GPU. It uses the same die as the GTX 1650, but cut down. It's still made in 12N process node.
Just to make my point more clear. The GTX 1650, released in 2019 for 149$
Look at the reviews, and you'll see that the GTX 1650 has much greater performance than the 1630.

There is no other way to describe the GTX 1630 other than a blatant attempt from nVidia to scam consumers.

Funny thing is you can get a 1650 (or even a 1650 super if you're lucky) on eBay for less than a brand new 1630 anyway. As you say, the GTX 1630 is totally pointless and just a cash grab by Nvidia hoping to fleece consumers who don't know any better.

Wow that is shitty of them. If it was newer node, but just named as being old, then that would have been a little different IMO, but if it still old tech, garbage performance and scam priced, that is a whole new level of terrible.

Hopefully we can we at least rule out these GTX 1630 being reworks of defective returned higher tier cards,- rebadged by Nvidia...oh wait, even that sounds possible
