It's strange that these older Ubisoft games are coming out to GP. What happened to Ubisoft Plus coming to Xbox? It was announced and than just fizzled out.

My only gripe about FC5 was that if you started having too much fun that chaos guage would fill up, and the boring-ass mandatory story sections would happen. If the game simply opened up the story missions once you had progressed far enough I might have not hated them as much.

Also, play FC New Dawn. It wraps up the story with Seed, and goes some wild places.

Played Life is Strange: Woke Colors on my iPad last night. Touch controls work great for that type of game and the streaming quality was perfect. Couldn’t even tell it was streaming vs native.

I've been trying to download Naraka and everytime it finishes, my system shuts down or moves slow. I'm going to wait on it.

Naraka is not bad! Had some fun playing it. Took me awhile to get used to it since the game doesn't have any inverted controls options (luckily fixed with xbox controller settings). Didn't see any campaign options either. Also I thought this game came out on ps 5 awhile ago guess I was wrong.

Naraka. Worth downloading just to look at the character models and the outfits in the store. Truly gorgeous women like a Korean MMO basically.

Unfortunately the game seems like nothing but a giant MMO style money sink. Tons of microtranactions everywhere.

Combat is below average but playable.

I dont think there's a campaign.

If all you play is Fortnite this is maybe a fun diversion for you. Most others can skip it.

A campaign is coming at some point for Naraka. I think it was announced at the MS/Bethesda showcase unless I'm thinking of something else

Tried Naraka. Lag Spikes all over the place, even on tutorial island. Once it stabilized it was fine, like Fortnight mixed with Sekiro, with hot Korean babes. But I'm Uninstalling already after being assaulted with a million in shop items. I just can't do that kind of thing anymore.

Far Cry 5 for Xbox and PC is now live on game pass

For what it's worth, it is an incredibly rock solid 60 FPS on SX (and also on SS with just a drop or two in hectic spots).

And it uses decent TAA so you're gonna see a softer image, not an aliased image.

For my Series X people trying out Far Cry 5, it's set to 30fps option by default. To change it to 60fps:

Far Cry 5: How to Enable FPS Boost on Xbox (60 FPS)
  1. Step One: On Xbox Series X, go to My Games and Apps.
  2. Step Two: Select Far Cry 5 and choose Manage Games & Add Ons.
  3. Step Three: Choose Compatibility Options, then select FPS Boost.
  4. Step Four: Enable FPS Boost for Far Cry 5.

Been playing FC5 and it is shocking how copy paste it is to FC6 lol.

Literally like playing the exact same game in a different setting.

Ubisoft are really the masters of the craft.

Ah thank you! I just started it and I am enjoying the game, but I will enjoy it even more with FPS boost.

If you're on an SX, you will immediately notice a drop in sharpness lol, but yeah the IMO the performance upgrade is well worth it, especially for a first person shooter.

Were this a slower paced game, I'd have kept the higher resolution on.

That's a really complicated way of enabling this. It's like they try to hide the feature.

I'm pretty sure far cry 5 came before far cry 6.

Im playing AC:Origins for the first time having played Oddisey before, and I can completely understand now why people was more critical of Oddisey. Its very similar to Origins.

It's not really that difficult TBH, and they keep it on by default in 90% of games. The only cases where it's off by default are examples where resolution takes a hit. Anthem is another example where resolution drops from 2160p to 900p to match One S settings to hit 60 FPS, so it's off by default.

Outside of a couple of examples, it's always on by default if the game supports it and works great out of the box.

So anthem drops to 900p in 60 fps?

What the hell the game should be able to run with a higher fps.

It drops to One S settings in FPS boost, unfortunately there's no middle ground, if the BC team thinks t he game is acceptable with One X upgrades, that's that.

But if they don't, then the game has to drop to One S settings for FPS boost.

Hm. That's a let down.

I though it was a performance vs quality mode..

What when games become next gen only? Then there's no boost.

If a game gets a native next gen patch, then the hope is that the performance profile is good enough not to require FPS boost in the first place.

The only game I can think off the top of my head is Sniper Elite 4. That game originally had FPS boost and ran at 1080p/60 FPS because of that, but then Rebellion gave it a native next gen upgrade and now it runs at 4K/60 on both PS5 and SX.

FPS boost only works in the limits of running games in the GCN compatibility mode, it doesn't make use of any of the RDNA features, so the BC team is limited in scope with what they can do.

Far Cry 5 still look pretty decent for a game that came out 4 years on last gen only.

Far Cry 5 was not known. I've never tried one, so I might play it for a bit. Not expecting much; not really my thing.

I've downloaded Naraka, but I'm not expecting much. Hopefully it's fun for a bit.

Never played any Shadowrun games. I have that downloaded as well. Low expectations, but I'll give it a shot.

It's incredible
