beatmania: the scratchin' DJ game that's TOO COOL!

As a guy who loves Rhythm games and Beatmania for its awesome aesthetic and gameplay this is a cool vid for me (also helps that it's KKclue, who has a lot of experience talking about rhythm games and also makes really good videos). This alongside Parappa are like the founding fathers of modern rhythm games, and it's crazy how the first title started out swinging with this much personality and swagger, making you feel like an epic DJ in the process. There are still arcade games and cabinets coming out today as well, and i'm blessed enough to live near an arcade where i can actually play them! (i can't play for shit though because i suck at DDR, let alone Beatmania which has more strict timing and far smaller notes as well as more of them to consider. Beatmania is like the final boss of rhythm games, it's just the hardest to play) I should bring up some screenshots of the arcade cabinets the next time i go there
Beatmania is pretty much the one thing Konami has going for them these days

Konami still make lots of excellent rhythm games.

Sound Voltex makes you feel awesome when you're killing it. I've a gamo2 faucetwo controller that's excellent.

It definitely takes some practice to get the hang of it.

This year I bought a Japanese PS2, some IIDX games, and a DjDao controller, and I am so shit at it so far it's unbelievable.

I spent more on the controller than everything else combined.

God I love games like this. I have the Beatmania II DX controller and it's awesome.
I've also been playing that PS1 port of Friday Night Funkin and WOW
WE NEED MORE RHYTHM GAMES IN THE WORLD
