I don' thinks so and that's as it should be. In Shadow of the Tomb Raider, I was afraid was going to have Lara and the Samoan guy have a relationship and it was pissing me off. Fortunately, it didn't happen. I have NO interest in knowing Lara's sexual orientation or having her romantic relationships be part of the game.

When I play games, especially action games, I want to kill bad guys, solve puzzles, loot and explore dungeons. I have zero interest in gay or straight romantic soap operas. If people want that go "play" a visual novel but keep that shit out of my games.

Put the camera behind Lara, have her be an over the top badass, give her super soldier stamina; and let us fucking explore and find huge tombs/dungeons to crawl and jump around in. Put her in a race against time to beat some "threat" and call it a day.

I don't give two shits about the sob story angle that is leeching into video game power fantasy. This isn't a CW tv show, and not all things need drama, pep talks, and the power of love or friendship or whatever the fuck peanut-brained writers try to shoehorn into their "profound" take on narratives these days. There should be no sexual dynamic in the plot. Leave that to the imagination of the men and lesbians playing the game, or at the most, bait them into it with more power fantasy.
