Just played through this.

It was a boring 5 minute cutscene and then a new jacket lmao

I love this game to my core, but wtf at the edge runner DLC. This didn't even deserve an announcement.

Wait for that Police patch and then wait to hear more about what they might add as anyone pretending its a solid game might be lying lol

It literally feels like a tech demo, or the first open world game created or something as the worlds elements are more window dressing then anything of real substance. I kid you not when I say more of a game exist with GTA III from 2001, then this game in 2022... the logical things you expect to be there simply don't exist or if they do, its poorly done. So I legit wouldn't spend past $5 on a Steam sale on this.

I don't know how much of that Police patch makes this game actually have real AI, but I'd look out for that to see if its fixed or addressed and wait for a patch beyond it or something. The story is so hollow and bland, you are not missing much and maybe it really is just worth $5 as some early access or something. The fact that in 2022 we are still waiting for some of those core features should tell you how hollow this game is...

Funny enough, I wish this games performance issues and bugs was the worst of this game, but its simply not.

This is sad, this game must be the biggest waste of assets of all time, the city looks amazing but I think I would have enjoyed it more as a linear experience.

Are you serious? That was still not fixed?

yea...I got not hope for this game to patch and correct all those issues. Its design is just fucked at this point.
well with previous patches they’ve updated a lot of core engine systems and now with 1.6 they will be ditching last gen. future patches should hopefully now take advantage of the extra console and PC power. it sucks it’ll take them this long but i have a bit of optimism they can make bigger changes the game now they arent held back by decade old hardware. we’ll see :messenger_grinning_smiling:

I wish they would implement FSR 2.0 on consoles and try to imprve the raytracing mode on consoles. There's barely a difference between Raytracing mode and 60fps mode.
Months ago, I was expecting next gen textures, next gen models and we got...next gen shadows.

I also saw people that didn't even notice there was a next gen patch.

Pretty much.

The fixes are welcomed, but it just needs too much work at this point and might as well have them start over and make an actual game vs tech demo. After they fix the police system, we need to wait till 2023 for them to fix the rest of the AI with the NPCs like gangs? Then wait till 2024 to allow the vehicles to be modded and repaired? I'm happy for those sticking in there and that like it, but I can't play a single player game in pieces like this waiting for crumbs of features to fucking come out that should have been in the game day 1.

Anyone on the fence with CP2077....keep waiting till those patches and features come. This game is an early access game sold at full price at this point.

8BiTw0LF 8BiTw0LF yes. I recall wondering when they'd allow us to customize cars thinking that came later in some other mission.....never happened as it was another lie.

I was excited and about to purchase Cyberpunk for my series x thinking that I could continue my pc gog save . That's not possible so got my hopes up for nothing.

I guess Google secured several years of expansions on the OG contract for a few AAA games.
I think the Casino expansion will arrive in 2024-2025 with performances enhancements from CD Projekt and from Google (AV1 codec ? New blades ? We just know some indies announced new tech and services coming soon)

RE8's expansion on Stadia is cool but i understand PS4 owners won't be hyped and blown away by such cross games...

On the other hand, dynamic open worlds Cyberpunk really shine on Stadia: Performances boosts, new tech from google enhancing graphics, no update, no DL, everything is growing in the clouds without need to download, install, uninstall like the pretty cool XBXSS(due to storage limitations... Series S users can play Stadia on their console to save space and time though) .
In addition, Cyberpunk expansions won't be available on PS4 anymore.

I thought we were only getting one expansion now or did they confirm multiple?

I know it was originally meant to be 2 expansions but seemed like they scrapped one. I thought Phantom Liberty was the only expansion we were getting.

Maybe ? I guess it will depend of the reception of the first one ?

I don't know. It's possible I suppose but I think once the expansion is out then that's it and they'll move onto Witcher 4 development. Them also releasing modtools seems to suggest that they won't be doing much more work on it and will leave the game in the hands of the fans.

I would love nothing more to have multiple expansions so hopefully it happens :)

Happy that series s got a performance mode, still aint playing it, typical polish fps, shite
lol.

you aren't going to play it but you'll call it shite and be happy for series s owners?

what are you even doing in here if you have made your mind up about the game without even playing it?

That guy goes on every cyberpunk thread he can exclusively to shit at the game. From what i talked to him and all the "criticisms" he makes, he either didn't even play this game or is extremely disingenuous about it

Here's one "legit", supposedly game breaking criticism he made: "Cops should stop and arrest you just for the lols 'cause they're corrupt and shit".

I played the timed demo, got to the part where your in some simulation with all the combat stuff, lets be honest the combat is pretty shit, though interacting with npcs was the only good thing i liked but shooting is eurojank and the melee combat is incredibly poor

I thought combat was pretty good, honestly one of the best in RPG with FPS mechanics i played so far.
But i do play with M&K, no idea how combat feels with a controller.

Thats the problem with the combat its 100% made for pc, i should of added it in there tbh its hard to explain but games like cyberpunks fps just feel incredibly weird, kinda feels like shooting in dead island

A friend of mine, who is a multiplat gamer on PC, consoles, and an avid Destiny player, told me that Cyberpunk 2077 might be one of the best RPGs with shooter mechanics, at first I wasn't fond about his opinion, when I improved my V and played some more unlocked skills, and got some more weapons I 100% agreed with, both of us played Cyberpunk on console.

But tbf fair, its less about Cyberpunk being great on that regard and more about the majority of FPS RPGs having really bad shooting mechanics.

I still think it could've be better, more specifically the whole stat and level based systems really needs to be done away in games like this. They're abstractions specifically made for tabletop play that don't really translate well into real time combat.

Has anyone tried on PS5 if the framerate still goes to shit on the Toms Diner - Market - Mistys area?

I just played through this. I thought they were finally done with content. I am not playing this again. And who or what is Nibbles? I do not remember Nibbles in either playthrough.

no. ppl seem to pretend it is. I tried to start playing this game again when it got the next-gen update, and it was still choppy and felt bad to play. And still ran into lots of dumb bugs/glitches.
I have pre-ordered it but still waiting to play when it will be in the right state.

There are PS5 games which drop to 900p. No need for trolling by leaving out context.
What games drop as low as 900p on PS5? I seriously dont know any

You're the one leaving out context. He said that "there were people doubting if Series S could run next gen games". No one was really doubting if it could run next gen games, but at what cost?

With 512p on Metro Exodus we are entering Vita resolution territory. So is it worth it? Even on a 1080p screen, it looks bad.

800p is not as bad, but pretty bad on a 1080p screen

But, some people will play Ark ont he Switch and will have fun, so whatever
