That map is complete BS. It started as an unfinished MS paint drawing that was posted on twitter as a 'leak'. Then some weeks or months later someone else (or the same guy with different name) painted satellite image over the low effort paint drawing... I'm surprised so little people know this...The scale matches perfectly to GTA V.

I finished that game good 3-4 times and Nadine was never an issue.
She is a trained army leader. Sam is an aging prison guy and Nathan is an aging brawler.
Besides -the 2 (oh the horror) fights with her were not soo cut clean. Nathan and Sam are getting in punches too.

Looks like GTA and seemingly matches up with the rumors. It's not a bad look for R* outside of the source codes being stolen. The game itself is going to be exactly what was expected and will still sell crazy numbers.

Our publication is writing a piece right now on how leaks are horrible and affect devs and how it can ruin things for a lot of people, particularly for those who worked very hard behind the curtains to on what is arguably the largest title in existence. Our goal is to make it an educational piece and make it so the audience can really see the bigger picture here not just for GTA6/Rockstar bit the gaming industry as a whole.
As big as Zelda, Elder Scrolls or God of War are, there is nothing as massive as GTA. It's the franchise that always pushed the boundaries in many ways, particularly for the open world genre. You can hate all you want but Rockstar is Rockstar and GTA is titan among the giants and you can't deny that.

I am pretty GTA positive has a far more mainstream appeal than Mario and Pokémon do. Mario is also limited to Nintendo sysyems and so is pokemon and zelda. Not denying they are massive franchise, I'd say they are up there, but I don't remember reading or hearing Mario or Pokémon making 3 billions of profit in 3 days.

And there is no franchise who sells like GTA despite any kind or category of leak. The damage won't reflect into the sale numbers of the final product. That's a big advantage of a leak regarding a well-known und established big AAA-Franchise. Everything else is now "simply" a question of communication and management. The development teams themselves suffer the most but in this case, definitely not the brand. Which begs the question if we get much more from the management than a "Was shit, we are deeply shocked, this doesn't reflect our release state and keep looking forward to the game".

While that may be true what your not realizing is that both Mario and Pokémon have been around far longer in the market than GTA was.
Very first GTA was released on 1997.
Mario as a character made his first appearance in 1981 in a Donkey Kong Nintendo Arcade Game.
Pokémon was released in Japan in 1996 and it also has far many more games than GTA does. It also sold 440 million copies while GTA is at 380 million.
GTA doesn't have shirts or any merchandise, or any kind of films or movies either. They only have 5 mainline titles with a few spin offs here and there that are much smaller.
I am pretty sure if GTA6 was announced today alongside Mario the thread for GTA6 would.be far bigger and more active than a new Mario title announcement. GTA simply has more worldwide appeal.
