Can't afford to.We should buy some publishers then...
I’m sure they’ll have more but considering SM, Polyphony and Guerrilla have just dropped games I’m left with Spidey and Factions for 2023. We’ll see if there’s more but if that’s it there’s some serious franchise fatigue there.
Sonys lineup for first party and console exclusive content for 2023 so far is:
Spider-Man 2
Horizon CotM
Horizon FW Burning Shores
Forspoken
Final Fantasy 16
RE8 PSVR2 mode
2 live service games launching before the end of the FY (guessing TLOU MP and Helldivers 2)
MLB23
Destiny 2 Lightfall
Stellar Blade
Firewall Ultra
Winter 2023 should mean around, Dec 2023, but may be Jan/Feb 2024.Is FF7 Rebirth confirmed for late 2023 or can it also release in 2024?
Every MS game missed the VGAs - does that mean they have nothing coming in 2023?Game missing the VGAs is not a good look.
Lol download the demo, you can see how shit it is yourself. Or just check YouTube and reddit to see the overall sentiment.I was going to say you forgot Silent Hill 2 Remake, but after double checking I guess they didn’t say 2023, though I think there’s a decent chance it comes out next year.
Also, this whole time I thought Forspoken was also coming to Xbox…..hmm, suddenly I’m looking at some of these extreme comments about how much they hate the game in a different light.
No, they will obviously release more as they do every year. And not only 1st party games, but also 2nd party and 3rd party exclusives (both AAA and indie). They'll have another very packed year.Does Sony really only have a single game release for 2023 on PS5?
It wasn't delayed to 2024, the game didn't and still doesn't have a release date. The same day they announced Spider-Man 2 with a 2023 date and Wolverine without date, so it was fair to assume that Wolverine was going to be released after 2023. Even more knowing that Spider-Man 2 is being developed by the Spider-Man 1 team and Wolverine by the Morales team, meaning it's fair to assume that if both games would take the same development time Wolverine would be released around a year later. And being a "new IP" for Insomniac, pretty likely Wolverine will need more work than a Spider-Man sequel. The year is about to start and all Sony has for 2023 is Spider-Man 2 as Wolverine already got delayed to 2024.

That doesn't work, when they get bought they stop making games apparently (plenty of CGI trailers tho).We should buy some publishers then...
Well, can you prove him wrong? If not, then your post applies to yourself more than anything.Only thing worse than a troll is a lazy troll, hope the next bait post goes better for you bud.
Why do your posts always read as though they were official replies from Sony? It even includes all the fluff. You end the first paragraph by saying "They'll have another very packed year". Only to then write 4 more paragraphs making excuses and confirming almost nothing. No, they will obviously release more as they do every year. Plus there's smaller multiplatform exclusives like games that release in PS4 but not in XBO (like Street Fighter 6 or Resident Evil 4 Remake), the ones with extra dlc etc.
On top of that, Sony announces and releases a lot of exclusives every year. They had a really packed 2022 so had to promote that so had their marketing busy with 2022 stuff, and without consoles in the shops there wasn't much sense to build more hype and made more sense bullet hypes for later.
They have many unannounced games that could be released in 2023: TLOU Online, Helldivers 2, the next games from Team Asobi, London Studio, Bungie, Pixel Opus, Bluepoint, Firesprite, Guerrilla, unannounced 2nd and 3rd party exclusives, etc. But I think a good chunk of them will be announced for 2024 or in 2024, as could also happen with the Firewalk, Haven or Deviation games.

And are u alergic to exclusive 3rd party games or timed exclusives? Thers a great line up of amazing games coming exclusively for PS5 in 2023. And probably some surprizes to be anounced to the 2nd half of 2023.Out of those, only four are first party, one is a PSVR game and one is a multiplatform game. That leaves absolutely 1 major first party exclusive for the PS5 for the entirety of 2023.
So 1 game and 1 DLC for the whole year of 2023.
You're right. They have zero games. You should sell your PS5 and move over to XBox. Thanks for the concern trolling though.
If you think I'm wrong or don't like what I say and wants to see people taking you seriously, instead of being in the pink or orange parts I'd suggest you to move to the blue, purple or grey parts:Why do your posts always read as though they were official replies from Sony? It's lazy trolling since it's not their only game next year as the OP suggested, simple as that.Well, can you prove him wrong? If not, then your post applies to yourself more than anything.
Probably more along the lines of a question being asked, and a different answer being given. And are u alergic to exclusive 3rd party games or timed exclusives? OP is just salty from the Aaron Greenberg thread. He popped in, shat on Sony’s exclusives vs Xbox’s, then promptly made this bait post. I’m sure they have no intent on being serious with this.So OP was wrong and definitely should have done research before starting this thread.
But I find it funny how hostile the replies are. It’s like everyone is paranoid about console-warring trolls everywhere they go.
More like, who the fuck cares if they are 1st or 3rd party? They are PS5 games. Just console warring bullshit. And u been replying to everyone that counters what OP is trying to push cuz you are another one.Probably more along the lines of a question being asked, and a different answer being given.
"Are you wearing black shoes?"
"Well I've got this nifty red shirt on, and wearing these awesome cargo shorts."
"So the shoes are black then?"
"What. Are you allergic to nifty red shirts and awesome cargo shorts?"
Aka...More like, who the fuck cares if they are 1st or 3rd party? They are PS5 games. Just console warring bullshit. And u been replying to everyone that counters what OP is trying to push cuz you are another one.
Yeah I got it a few weeks ago when I mentioned that Sony wasn't announcing much and people fucking freaked out on me.So OP was wrong and definitely should have done research before starting this thread.
But I find it funny how hostile the replies are. It’s like everyone is paranoid about console-warring trolls everywhere they go.

Shall I continue?…go back under your bridge
Person who started the thread is obviously trolling and fishing for replies…Meh I got ps plus. Plenty of games to play. And they are free
Please explain this
Welp you know…when people post some console warring bullshit threads, the masses come out and typically call out OP. People are fed up with the BS threads. The mods put out a sticky thread about it, and keep posting ass threads. So OP was wrong and definitely should have done research before starting this thread.

Report them, if the mods don’t lock the threads or ban the users, call them out.Welp you know…when people post some console warring bullshit threads, the masses come out and typically call out OP. No Ragnarok DLC. They say that.MLB is yearly. Factions doesnt have a date but it has to be next year. Ragnarok DLC is just speculation but it makes sense to me.
Game releases for PS5 in 2023 alone are looking great. The Last of Us Online is most likely 2023, that's going to be huge for them
This is typed out as if it was made with a Troll post generator. There is nothing exciting coming.
If Spiderman 2 is proper next gen title, I wouldn't count on it making 2023.
Unless they rush it and ship with flaws in combat system/ swinging mechanics.
Will look good though and have perfect lip sync when characters speak in cut scenes.
