I was reading some Reddit posts and that seems correct... it is weird but seems like MS is working to give HDR in lower resolutions.

PS5 do it better but lacks the 1440p support.

Any link on Microsoft saying they are working on this? I've found a lot of threads complaining about it but no acknowledgement. I wish there was a good way to report something to Microsoft and get a follow up.

Not reliable sources just the typical Xbox guys on twitter... I just read few days ago and it is really hard to find things on Twitter

Even if I'm a bit late for the party, I would like to express also my disappointment about this circumstance.

I bought this portable 1440p monitor with hdr for the outpatient rehab treatments with my son.

The thing has a really great, true-color picture, but hdr is simply missing.

Are there meanwhile any updates or comments from microsoft regarding this topic?

I remember reading about it coming via an Insider build a long time ago, but unsure if it was ever rolled out....sounds like not based on your issues though.
