For some reason of all the shops of that particular chain in my country they always send them to ours, digital ones too. People come in the afternoon and we have to clean it up and then tell them they're already sold out.

Maybe in US was already easy to find, but here in EU, and Italy, PS5 was a mirage. Lots of XSS and Switch, some XSX, no PS5. Very strange since Italy was always a Playstation country.

Ah cool, two questions though: Do they not have security devices on them at all?! (I guess could be those little sticky plastic tags) and theres Spanish but you're in the USA Bloomington, is everything bilingual where you are?

Also I thought Bloomington was in Indiana, super confuse.

baffling to see this pop up again as I've been seeing PS5s on store shelves in every electronics retailer since last summer in my second-class EU country.

Waiting for the inevitable Slim model to come myself, I'm quite happy with my recently upgraded PC atm but I want to play some old PS games I never got into

Consoles in store shelves matter, I love demoing the console too. Still haven’t seen a PS5 at a Walmart electronics section.

And people back at launch were saying they didn't want to be early adopters. This is one of the reasons why I became one this go around.
Its funny because when my local Gamestop was very first taking pre launch preorders there was no panic as preorders were live for several days if not a week or two before they sold out

It took me well over a year before I could get a PS5, and I was pretty aggressive about finding one. I was only able to get one by signing up for a Gamestop membership, because they had a program would they would email their members that they would be dropping PS5 bundles in 48 hours. A bundle was about $700, but I was able to trade in the extra controller and two useless games that came with it, for a shit load of store credit, so I was at least able to get a couple of games I was interested in.

But yeah, getting a PS5 after launch was so goddamn ridiculous. I don't understand how the average joe was able to get their hands on one online. From what I saw from other people, it basically came down to luck. I have so many memories of trying to buy a PS5 as soon as an online store was in stock. Because of all the bots, these fucking things sold out in a matter of an attosecond. And this went on for a looooong time. Even after a year later, I never saw one in stores, and if they went up online, they were immediately sold out.

THey are behind the cash register by the front of the store judging by the picture. There is a bloomington indiana and bloomington illinois. I am in illinois. Unsure about the spanish, not everything is bilingual that must just be a bestbuy thing ?
