The creators of Postal said Postal 3 is a bad game and should never be bought. Afro Samurai was pulled from PS4 because it was so awful

See that works too. Plus I have around 40 years of gaming under my belt, so I might actually know what a good game is, even if I'm not into it..... Just like I know a bad game when I see it.

For the most part, I agree with what they said. Of course there are bad and good games, but there are different opinions on what's good and bad.
Xbox owned.
I agree with the sentiment. I like many games people consider bad. But it's lame for Xbox to come out and say that.

The only time I hear about reviews and review scores is here and occasionally on gaming videos I watch on YT. I stopped going by or even reading gaming media reviews a long time ago. This pic, among other things, shows exactly why.

I think if you're in a review thread and you say something like "Reminder: just because you're not personally into a game, doesn't mean it's a bad game" then you automatically lose the argument and your opinion is invalid.
No reason to have reviews. Games are all good
I think a lot of loudmouths forget that the world doesn't revolve around them & most of the attacks on games nowadays are from people who haven't played the game at all & made up their minds to attack them before even seeing the gameplay. Silliest time in gaming history

The fact that most of these folks didnt abandon "critics" and review sites in the early 2000s is mind boggling. What the fuck are forums for? Heck, I stopped taking people's hype as something important as well. Its like people need to be guided what to play now. The reason we even got to this GAAS and 4 Player MP BS is because "muh friends play dem games cuh". People are so tiresome that they cant sit down on the net and do their own research or find something appealing for themselves.

They're not wrong at all, but they also should have known how posting that would look, and they should have thought better of it.
I don't have an issue with the statement, but them having to say it is kind of an embarrassing look for them. Just a weird thing to post, and not a strong looking act in general.

If you truly believe this, then don't dare step foot into another negative game thread every again. A game is made with 100% AI assets? Don't be mad or even remotely upset. Just understand that just because you don't like AI slop doesn't mean the other gamers don't enjoy it.

Sometimes it does. I don't like Alien Isolation but I don't think it's a bad game at all. Then there is stuff like Dragon Age Veilguard that just blows. Mixtape, which this is probably about, I'd put in the class with Life is Strange and Dustborne or stuff my daughter would play. Those weird teen horror qte movies on Playstation. More "multimedia content you can play in your xbox with a controller" than a video game that you'd play and consider with a rating. David Cage's bibliography. They're like an accessory. Visual novels. The preoccupation with adolescent intimacy present in almost every entry in the genre is also worth making a note of on an actual pad of paper. IGN and all these outlets considering it as potential overall GOTY is just a sign of the times man. Especially this being the best year of the gen so far by a long shot.
