I wish this game had recieved the same lvl of polish and care of RE games.
The demo didnt impressed me, lets see the full game.
At 30 fps? Nah.Game of the year
So frame rate determines if the game is good or not?At 30 fps? Nah.
This is a remake. So frame rate determines if the game is good or not?
Bloodborne was 30 FPS and that is an action RPG and yet still didn't stop game from being great.
You fight ghosts with a camera. What kind of survival horror game is this? Is it an RE? A silent Hill like?
Unless it's 240 fps, don't even bother.This is a remake.
Of a very old game.
30fps for a BB remake would also be a travesty.
Two Masters DLC is sad. One lame new weapon for each protagonist. 4 new bosses. 1 reconfigured enemy type. A bunch of reused level assets with a recolor of underworld assets. Mostly a bunch of lame enemy gauntlets without anything memorable and a throwaway story.Tecmo is releasing games left and right. The DLC mini campaign The Two Masters to Ninja Gaiden 4, NiOh 3 getting updates and new armor for reaching a million sales, and now Fatal Frame II. Not bad for a similar asking price as the PS2 version when that came out.
I'll need to wait for a sale on this one I bet.You fight ghosts with a camera.
It's classic survival horror. Explore a spooky location, see creepy stuff, read notes for lore and fight off ghostly enemies with a camera with different types of film (infinite weak film, limited stronger film). The game's combat takes an interesting approach in that while you can take shots whenever you want it's much better to let the ghosts get closer and even start to attack you for maximum damage (a fatal frame). This also doubles as a way to force you to "face your fear" to be effective.I'll need to wait for a sale on this one I bet.![]()
Yes, but the fact we got those titles out of Tecmo when video game budgets are so high nowadays is a good thing. I'm being very optimistic here. They do release Romance of the Three Kingdoms and miscellaneous games here and there. I'd say their output is not that bad. Was it good enough for me to buy all of them? Yes. I'm still playing Dynasty Warriors Origins. Shows that Koei-Tecmo has fun games. Those aren't earth shattering things, but they made me go back to the game or think about revisiting the game. Nioh 3 still has a Season Pass of content to come out and NG4 isn't done yet.Two Masters DLC is sad. One lame new weapon for each protagonist. 4 new bosses. 1 reconfigured enemy type. Nioh 3's celebration armor is just a yellow version of the red and blue preorder armor.
I know nothing about Fatal Frame II remake.
I have enjoyed Team Ninja's DLC for Nioh 2 but it is difficult to say whether the DLC for 3 will be memorable with its open world mediocrity polluting every facet.Nioh 3 still has a Season Pass of content to come out and NG4 isn't done yet.
While the quality of each of those games may be subpar to your standards. They still have ground to show off more of the game's engine. I do agree about NG4's phoned in DLC. It was basically splitting a single hair and bringing the strand together at the end. Which means it was far too predictable. I'd say we probably should focus our attention on Fatal Frame. Some could argue the gameplay is tedious, moving around the environment feels sluggish, and the camera isn't good half the time. It still holds a lot of good characteristics like story, unique gameplay, and the eerie environments. The combat with the camera isn't something you see in a lot of games. That's basically how I've looked at Koei-Tecmo over the years. Their games are a little rough around the edges, but they're unique enough to leave a lasting impression.I have enjoyed Team Ninja's DLC for Nioh 2 but it is difficult to say whether the DLC for 3 will be memorable with its open world mediocrity polluting every facet.
NG4's DLC was extremely phoned in and the whole game was completely outsourced so I have no idea why you think that it will be further built on.
You will not! I'm not giving you any allowance money to buy it.im gonna buy it
lolYou will not! I'm not giving you any allowance money to buy it.
But i like the film grain here
It makes it look like Forbidden Siren 2 on PS2 despite the great models and lighting.
the game's concept always intrigued me (and still does), but the style always ruined it for me... that type of japanese characters/storytelling just isnt scary to me at all--feels goofy or basic or something.I wish this game had recieved the same lvl of polish and care of RE games.
But i also don't want everyone else to be able to disable itIt's a toggle, you can keep it on if you like it.

Xbox - 30fps, dead platform
Whatchu playing on?Reading around, it seems like they did *not* add the two new endings that were added for the Wii remake.
But they did retain the extra ending that was added to the Xbox version along with the ones already in the PS2 original.

Out of the list, the XB version sounds like the best one for your case papito.
Whatchu playing on?
Sometimes I feel like grabbing a PS5 since there's stability in their ecosystem, but then I imagine the ghastly looking PS5 sitting in my entertainment center and snap out of it.
Stable or locked 30fps.Out of curiosity what is "Pro enhance" for this game if its still running at 30FPS?
