and the rest of his cronies are the first to post Sony news lately (because of course it's not good news) but have nothing to say about MS news, unless there's some ball fluffing going on. It's so tirelessly predictable when you see thread headlines that it seems like their entire existence is to astroturf for MS. The sooner MS exit the gaming space the better. Then we don't have to witness their incompetent running of a gaming division and hopefully the shills fuck off and stop their MS propaganda. There's no way you can show that kind of love for a company like MS unless you're getting paid. What the fuck do they contribute to gaming at the moment, even with the vast war chest they apparently have for the Xbox division?

It's just different times. In the Xbox One days you could pick up a One S Minecraft bundle for $199 during the holidays, so it could be a 2nd or 3rd console, or impulse buy. Now it's $500-800 and so are other consoles. There's no more room for Xbox on the market.

They'd make more money selling asha feet pics than they do on their hardware.
In March 2023 any Verizon subscriber could buy a series s for $150. Later that year near black friday the series x was at $350. Just didn't push demand enough, pricing wasn't the problem. Just no unique selling point with all games going to pc day 1.

They had exclusives during the Xbox One period and came in a distant third behind both Nintendo and Sony.
They had exclusives for the first half of the Xbox Series lifecycle and were still a distant third behind Nintendo and Sony, and were losing ground.
"Returning to exclusivity" isn't going to save Xbox. It would harm the future for a whole lot of game franchises.

For Asha to say this: Microsoft has to be up to something. What are they doing over the next 12 months that would make her say they're gonna have growth by the end of fiscal year 2027, which is June 30th, 2027? It doesn't make sense to me today, but clearly they're going to be doing something that's going to generate way more revenue.
