The games industry is going through an interesting shift as of late, mostly thanks to streamlined development tools and the availability of publishing platforms like Steam and Epic Games. As a result, many AA and indie games have risen to fame - which wouldn't obviously be possible in the gaming landscape of prior generations. Of course, there are so many indie and AA games coming out in the near future - and this feature series is dedicated to such games.

Previously, we have covered many promising projects like Black Myth: Wukong, Mystery Moon, and Outbreak Island just to name a few. Developer DuiXiaoHe's upcoming Airtight City 2.0 has recently dropped a trailer, that has fans captivated to know more about the game, its inspirations, and other details of interest. To that end, we can't help but ask the question - what the hell is Airtight City?

The game looks pretty good for a solo developed title.

Betting my two cents this is the next Lost Soul Aside case.

It's just a matter of time it gets bought by either Sony or MS.

Looks really good. The combat movement animation looks impressive for a solo guy project.

Normally "Solo" devs smells bad news to me, especially if the game looks way too good for a single devs.

It's always bad news especially when they go for the big budget 3D look. pixelated stuff like say Stardew Valley, yeah I can see that happening but when I see shit like the stuff above? It'll be just a 2 hour waste of time game AT BEST like that FPS game, the name eludes me atm, or never see the light of day.
