Is it that even if they skyrocketed Sony is just so used to success they have better things to worry about than reporting/commenting on a big increase in sales, or is it that the XBox continued to sell close to PS2 even with the price cut?

Nintendo and Microsoft are pretty quick to brag and I know that even independent analysts were reporting a doubling of XBox sales when the price-cut happened in late March/early April...

Are FSW and Riddick overshadowing any impact, or is summer just really slow anyway for a $30 price cut to make a lasting impact...

EB boss said PS2 sales had gone up 45% for them since the price-cut. Think Sony will be sweating on May numbers, could be real tight.

Sony just holds all their boasting back for E3 and then they unleash it for a half hour at their press conference. As boring as it is, it's more truthful than any other sales figure boasting.
