Not much is currently known about Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s release date apart from a vague 2023 date set on its initial release trailer. However, Insider Gaming has learned that the game is currently scheduled to release in August.

Understandably, the date is tentative and subject to change, but the August date was initially set to be much sooner in the year with the game now internally being delayed twice.

The 2023 date already meant that the series will be moving from its now two-year gap between games. But, an August target suggests that we could be getting Mirage three years on from Valhalla if it’s internally delayed again by a couple of months.

With Assassin’s Creed Mirage set to release on both past-gen and current-gen consoles, it’s possible that this could be causing issues due to hardware limitations.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is set to release in 2023 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. The game will be smaller than a traditional Assassin’s Creed title and will cost $49.99 for the standard edition.

Sources were unable to give updates on why Mirage was internally delayed twice but had given updates on some other Assassin’s Creed titles. One of the key takeaways mentioned was that Assassin’s Creed Project Red was facing some issues in development.

It was reported by TheGamer reported in September that employees were leaving the project because of abuse allegations.

On the other hand, Project Hexe, has reportedly been received with overwhelming positivity during its proof-of-concept stages and could start full production soon.

How about you stop making the same shit over and over, Ubisoft you are garbage
Maybe when people stop buying the same shit over and over again. Apparently there is no need for them to change the current formula. Valhalla was even a best seller.

Their most recent AC game is the best selling game in the series. Last year was the top grossing year for the Far Cry brand. Seems that are dozens of millions of people who disagree with you and keep buying their games, even more than before. So they prefer to listen customers and potential customers than to haters.

They also make several types of other games and new IPs constantly.

They are doing a cross over now in Valhalla with the new protagonist from Mirage. Haven't had a chance to play it yet but Ubi dropped loads of new content in their recent patch.

I'm fine with sometime next year if they can bring the feeling of the old AC games back instead of the terrible GaaS fake RPGs they're making now.

It's good, because Q1-Q2 is already packed. I just hope they won't sacrifice too much because of being held back by previous gen versions.

Finally going back to the style of AC that isn't a bloated mess with terrible leveling mechanics.
