Nothing major, but thought could be worthy of a mention. While I was browsing around for job entries, I saw that there is a developer in Indonesia, Jakarta looking for a Lead Animator and Lead Programmer for "an unannounced Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC game project using Unreal Engine 4". Now, the job ads don't mention, as custom, the employer, but if you do some basic research the leads point towards Batavian Studio, mainly because of a post on the Unreal Engine back in July last year in which they were looking for a programmer:

Batavian Studio, a newly founded studio in Jakarta Indonesia, is currently developing an MMORPG using Unreal Engine 4. Before some one else says it, yes, I know start ups can't do MMOs; however, we have a generous backer who wishes us to try. I can not discuss certain aspects of the project. However, we are planning to make an mmorpg with a fps combat system (twitch instead of tick) set in an urban setting. We are trying to be as realistic as we can concerning the scope of the project. We are planning for the game to target the Indonesian market; we do, however, also plan to release an English version for the international market.

We currently have a team of talented artists (graphic artists, modelers, environmental artists, animators, etc.) and programmers. However, while our programmers have experience in gaming, none of them are qualified to lead this project. So, I am looking for a lead programmer. Indonesia does not have a developed gaming industry with people with this sort of skill set.

Our website, http://batavianstudio.com/contact.html, has our contact information and address.

We currently have 14 employees but are looking to expand to 34 (more if necessary) based on our current projections and expectations. We have a 4 floor office building for our studio to be based out of filled with high end hardware and gadgets. We have a motion capture studio setup nearby.

We can offer a competitive salary and benefits package and are open to negotiations. We will provide housing, transportation, visa expenses, health insurance, etc.

So, if you have the technical knowledge to lead a team of a dozen burgeoning game programmers in the process of developing an MMORPG in an enjoyable working environment, please email hr@batavianstudio.com

There, and on their website, only PC is mentioned, but the job ad mentions PS4 and Xbox One as well. Batavian is also the only studio in Jakarta that doesn't focus on iOS and Android, at least that's what I've been able to find.

Under "Games" there's a text that says "WAITING TO UNVEIL". The images can be assumed related to the game due to its description ("an mmorpg with a fps combat system (twitch instead of tick) set in an urban setting").

A number of the staff members can be found on LinkedIn, just search for "Batavian Studio". They have Jason Maskell who worked for Crytek in 2010 as Senior Java Programmer, he's Chief Technical Officer for Batavian.
