Issue with Battlefield is that it’s basically open area COD… But COD does everything better than Battlefield.

I think if Battlefield went all out realistic mil sim and really separated itself from the arcadey play style it would do better.

Well, Battlefield isn't Squad. And I'm glad it isn't. If I want something more realistic, I'm playing Squad or Arma.

I used to side with the gamers. Then I saw what gamers actually are. They disgust me.

The developers are right. I side with them.

BF2042 failed because it was a glitchy, unfinished mess and the core premise is flawed today. It had nothing to do with specialists.

Agreed. The core issues with 2042, I felt had little to really do with specialist. I feel its base design is better now then at launch and those patches and updates are getting it closer to what it likely should have been at launch, but i still feel they a ways off even if its much better then at launch.

Its like, they had an idea for a massive amount of players, but lots of the design and function could barely support this concept.
