Grabbed quite a lot of free games on GOG but never played on them. Steam is my platform at the end!

Amazing game, but people should know going into it that despite its aesthetic this is an adventure game not an RPG. There's no stats or character progression, there's an (optional) segment of the game with some turn based combat but that's it. Not the OPs mistake, of course, but GOG should've gone with a different writeup, especially since the perception of this game being an RPG caused significant backlash during its initial release in 2019.

It does look like an RPG at first glance, almost thought it was like Baldur's Gate

gog is not a platform it's an online store with an optional app you can use but don't have to use.

so not sure why Steam being "your platform" would keep you from playing the games lol
